Container Gardening

March & April 2020 Container Garden Tour

Hello Friends,

We’re going through some trying times but gardening always puts me and hopefully you, into a good mood. Come along with me as I share my container garden in my backyard garden of zone 10. I have lettuce, peppers, strawberries, tomatoes and more. I hope it can provide some inspiration! And if I can improve on anything- let me know.

Here at Home Cents With Nell I talk about home decor, DIYs, product hauls, gardening and everything relating to making your home your sanctuary – all on a budget. If that’s your thing, please like, comment and subcribe. I’d love to have you as part of the family.

  1. Seems like the kale is coming in slow. A lot of folks don't know much about kale but I used eat it a lot as a kid. When folks see it cooked, they think it's spinach until they taste it and aren't ready for the slightly bitter-bite taste compared to mild tasting spinach. Nice spread of veggies. Marigolds do ward off certain bugs but they didn't work for us every year. The deer did not mess with marigolds but they did enjoy the wife's tasty flowers (she was not happy). You're right about taste of homegrown tomatoes. Enjoyed a full-watch. Have a fine upcoming weekend.

  2. Yes indeed, homegrown tomatoes are the BEST!! I love your content. New subscriber. Stay healthy & safe✨✨thanks for sharing

  3. Hi Nell! You have a very nice veggie garden! Nice variety! I am really considering starting one, but it gets really hot here in TX & I'm afraid nothing will do well in the direct sun with our temps reaching in the 100's during the summer. So now that I've watched this full video, I'm going over to see how you guys built your raised beds. TFS! Take care & be safe!❤🥰❤
