I still remember that amaryllis I have when those alliums popped up. It took a year for it to pop up again. Our bulbs were probably charging up so they can put on a show the following year.
Also, what if you plant those sunflowers in between each pot? It's kind of sad to see them go…
I’m going to try this. Doing a video or still photo of my gardens every month. I’m in AZ 9b and get discouraged with higher desert gardening. This method might help me see the beauty and progression of actually a lovely mature desert garden. Thank you, Janey.
Hi Janey 🌺 every plant has its advantages every season but we love to keep our garden as much as possible flowering throughout the year . Like your beautiful camellia plant how beautiful to see the amazing flowers of it ,it make the heart happy. Have awonderful day my friend .🎄
Thanks Janey! Merry Christmas🎄
May I please ask you what the neighbors fence looks like on the other side of the painted black fence? Seems the black would leak through and look like a nightmare for them?
Thank you Janey, wishing you and yr family a wonderful Xmas and New Year too 😊
It is easy to forget! Ill do a tour of one of my flower beds or something, & then a couple months later & in always surprised at the difference!
It sure is fun to see how a garden grows, and what a tease, mentioning you bought those pots 😊I'm pretty sure I know what the bench looks like.
I've been curious about how the milkweed went, with the one larvae.
Merry Christmas. I think it is a great idea to make a record of each month to look back at. I am going to do this starting in January. I hope you have a wonderful day.
What a great look back! You've really made some great improvements in 2022. Looking forward to 2023 and all your new ventures in the flower garden! Merry Christmas Janey!!
Looks great!
Hey Janey!! I always enjoy your videos! I’m just starting to get into gardening and trying to learn all the gardening things! You have quickly became on of my favorite gardening channels. I always look forward to your uploads! Thank you so much for all your videos they always give me so much inspiration ❤
Yay you’re parents gifted you the bench! I remember you saying you had a birthday in December?? Me too! Happy birthday! There is a Bougainville in our backyard from previous tenants and it’s planted in the oddest spot and that thing just doesn’t stop lol it still has blooms even with all the frosty mornings. The owner had cut it down to a stump and it came roaring back! 😂
Love❤️
The black fence really brings everything to a new level love it!!! I stopped doing bird seed and now use just sunflower seeds for the birds. The weeds from seeds was a pain. I think we get more birds using just sunflower seeds.
Where did you get the fence around the bunny salad bar?
Gran saludo animos
The black fence looks great! It really creates an excellent backdrop for your plantings.
Great look-back video. I was so inspired when you started painting the fence that I did the same thing. I painted my 8ft board on board fence by myself. OMG what a task. It took me 4 days but I was determined to have a beautiful fence. It really makes for a dramatic look to everything in the yard. Thank you for all of your inspiration and video sharing. Happy Holidays!!
Hi Janey! I gave a shout out to your look back garden tour. You inspired my latest winter garden tour which I have never done. Thanks Janey!!!
Such a fun video. Thank you so much for sharing the before and after. Love it!
Hi Janey ! A beatiful garden , I like your black fence and your tips . I wish the best Merry Chistmas and Happy New Year to all !
I keep forgetting Janey how much I like your intro music to these holiday videos. Puts you in a really happy mood. Merry Christmas to you and your family
Thank you for sharing this video/s with us as we look back with you for both the front and back gardens. Have a great time off over the holidays and really looking forward to seeing what changes and plans you have come up with for 2023. Take care and all the best to you and your family.
Merry Merry Christmas to you and your family, Janey. Hope you have a fabulous festive season. Thank you so much for a year of wonderful content. You have inspired me to do so many things in my garden. I'm so looking forward to your 2023 content. 🌲🌲🌲
Loved this!!! Thanks 😊 HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS JANIE!!!
I Love the Fence painted black. Any suggestions for an espalier plant that will be in direct all day sun. It will also be in an area that is difficult to get water to. I wanted English ivy, until I did research and they don't like direct all day sun. I am looking for something that will look good all season. I am in 7a, central Arkansas. Love the bunny. Cari
Hi Janey. 👋 Another wonderful backyard garden tour! These season ending look back types are always the best. 👍
What type of Nandina are those along the side fence? Do they turn red for you during the winter?
Lovely tour Janey 🥰 wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas 🎄
Isn't it wonderful to have flowers blooming in December? I have Encore azaleas and several colors of camellias, mostly pink. My shishi camellias are blooming the best they ever have. Good luck bringing all your garden plans to fruition. From January-June you are going to be one BUSY person!
Merry Christmas to you and your family. I enjoy watching and learning about your garden areas each day. How is your new cut garden acreage faring in the countryside. It would be fun to see it periodically. Thanks for your channel.
Taking monthly photos is such a good idea. I love the black fence. What a difference. Looks fantastic!
Merry Christmas to you and your family. Enjoy your holiday break.
