I caught up at chapter 1000 and it took me from February to December to read all those chapters.

explain one piece as a marxist
One Piece is a popular manga and anime series created by Eiichiro Oda. The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate who dreams of finding the legendary treasure known as One Piece and becoming the Pirate King.
From a Marxist perspective, One Piece can be understood as a commentary on class struggle and the dangers of unchecked capitalism. The series is set in a world where the strong prey on the weak and the wealthy elite exploit the labor and resources of the poor. The main antagonist, the World Government, is a corrupt organization that wields immense power and controls the world through propaganda and manipulation.
The main characters in One Piece, including Luffy and his crew, represent the downtrodden and oppressed, who resist the corrupt power structures and fight for their own freedom and autonomy. They stand in contrast to the wealthy and privileged, who often use their wealth and influence to exploit and oppress others.

I just hope we get to see Carrot again, the way Oda handled her in Wano was, honestly…Disgusting.
She is utterly defeated and humiliated by Perospero, mocked to her face, told to go back to Zou to nibble grass….And the Dukes basically force her to do exactly that. Forcing the position of Duchess on her against her will. She ends up where she didn't want to be, thrust into a position she is utterly unequipped to handle (and does NOT want), and gets NO closure over Pedro's death. She doesn't even get to say goodbye to the Strawhats, her closest friends…
PLEASE Oda, show Carrot some love. You utterly wasted her in Wano and handled her exit from the story in the most insulting way you probably could…It feels like Oda did it purely for meta-narrative reasons (either he didn't want to have Carrot in the story anymore OR he's got plans for her later), not because it made sense for her character, OR would be a satisfying sendoff for the readers who are invested in her journey. Let's be honest, even if she takes the position (not that she's being given a choice), Wanda and Shishi will be the ones making the ACTUAL decisions. Carrot will be a figurehead who just does what THEY tell her to do…
And since the BB Pirates are coming to Zou…Wow, Oda just wants Carrot to suffer, doesn't he? I cannot think of a character who Oda did more dirty than Carrot…
I would love a GTA One Piece game that has a detailed map/world that you yourself could be come the private king.

Naw the live action series will look and be terrible. I’m not even making a guess about it. It just not going to be good. That’s that. No hope needed because, it will be trash. The effects are going to be shitty and the way they will portray devil fruits will looks janky and cheap. If I am wrong and it is good when it comes out(which I won’t be wrong) I’ll donate 1000$ to a charity. Not even joking around. Come back to this comment after the live action release and if I was wrong I’ll send proof of the donation to whomever asks.
Hey a weird thing about the card game, so the cards have tags, kind of like archetypes in Yu-Gi-Oh, like lightsworn, blackwing etc etc. For some reason both Cavendish and Bartolomeo have the SuperNova tag, but they are never mentioned to be a SuperNova, would you know why that is?

Oda actually has a lot of unconfirmed sales basically, they can’t calculate exactly how much it has been, so by the end of the story and they finalize it, it’s very possible oda will be in top 5
Occasionally working at schools, I have kids ask me “is the one piece real?” completely unprompted (happened today and i threw in a Kaizuko Oni)
They had this 1 one piece RPG on the PS4 that I was really hyped about and then I got it and it was only in Japanese I was so annoyed. If they had it fully dubbed in English I would have played that game so hard I would have bought all the DLC but I just couldn't get with the sub and that s*** broke my heart.
Part of my childhood is playing Unlimited Cruise 1&2 on the Wii and Grand Adventure on the PS2. They are till this day my favourite One Piece games

I just recently got World Seeker and I absolutely loved it. Instead of being a fighting game, it’s more action/adventure. I highly recommend it. I do have plenty of criticisms, but I’m not writing a full review here, so I’ll leave it at that.

Boruto is not going strong, yeah it's still around but it's a huge shitshow anime and the manga. Dropped the anime some years ago and the manga some months ago.
