Embossing with Stencils – Stretch Your Supplies!

Tonight, I shared a fun technique using stencils as embossing folders! It’s so easy to create beautiful textured designs with your stencils by using them like they were embossing folders. I show you what they look like when inking on both the front and the back AND how to create a vintage look using this beautiful combination of Kraft, Warm Cocoa and Sea Glass ink.

We won’t have any more videos this week as we are taking a little break to catch up on our holiday checklist and to spend some time with our girls. We want to wish all of you a Happy Hanukkah and a very Merry Christmas! We appreciate you all so very much!

  1. Enjoyed your video but unfortunately due having hearing issues and wearing an aid I was unable to hear towards the end due to the guitar music you were playing. It was competing with your voice. Sadly when you wear a hearing aid music if it’s the same level as the voice makes it difficult for the hearing aid to pick out the voice.

Though the bits were it was softer was ok, and please don’t think I didn’t like the cd, I did, I used to play the guitar myself when I was younger.

  2. When I emboss I typically use a solution of Photo-Flow and water before I put my cardstock into the embossing folders, or use a stencil to emboss

  8. The Stellar Snowflake Stencil is one of my all time favorite stencils. This video had a great use of it. I’ve actually never seen anyone ink the debossed side of the paper before when using a stencil for this purpose. I’m definitely going to have to give it a go. Great video. Happy holidays to everyone.
