My family is definitely cut green beans for the green bean casserole. I also have been searching for the tiny canned shrimp. None of my stores have any. I've found so smaller frozen shrimp, but it's not the same. Also don't get on Instagram or Facebook and do a live while being medicated also. Lol.I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! I didn't see any canned shrimp at all the last time I was at Walmart and Winn Dixie (about 2 weeks ago). LOTS of clams, though! I've never seen the large cans, just the ones about the size of a tuna can (4 or 5 ounces). I really want to add some more to my pantry, so hoping they will reappear on the sheles. I'm sure they willl be more expensive, too!

Team Eggnog here! I like to "dilute" mine with either half and half or heavy cream (and maybe a splash of rum 😉🙃) to stretch it a little.

I love egg nog! Dangerous. Good idea for stretching egg nog. My favorite is the Southern Comfort brand. It's very thick.

For the eggnog… there are recipes for eggnog cookies… so so good!
I’m sorry but I’m so thankful I’m not the only one this happened to. I had a root canal and was high on serious drugs. My husband couldn’t leave me in the car (same reason as you) and he couldn’t take me home and leave me by myself (who knows what I would have done). I don’t remember any of it but apparently I met someone from my husbands work and I did some grocery shopping. Afterwards I wanted a Wendy’s frosty and French fries apparently. I was told this later on. And I realized I had shopped when I went to the freezer and found freezer meals (lean cuisine) that I had “wanted” according to my husband. I looked at him and said “you didn’t put them back! When have I ever eaten lean cuisines? Why would I start now?” I’m just thankful no one videoed me that day!
Christmas Day – Garlic herb butter prime rib on the pellet smoker, (a 10-pounder should do it), garlic mashed potatoes, creamed corn (I'd pit our against anyone's), two green salads, rolls, pumpkin dessert.

I am planning on going out to dinner with a couple of girlfriends on Christmas Day weather permitting. It is horribly here in Omaha but it is supposed to warm up this weekend so I think it will be safe to go out.
Egg Nog is definitely a Yay for me! I am having the same meal for Christmas as Thanksgiving. Cooked a turkey in the slow cooker and froze one of the breasts from it. Stove Top stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, yams, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, and canned biscuits. 70yrs old now, so need to make everything as easy as I can. Love your videos. Green bean casserole use cut green beans but we also do a green bean and bacon dish with potatoes pretty much it’s all cooked down together in a skillet so yummy. We use the whole green beans for that particular dish.
I don't think I've ever seen the canned shrimp. I use bags of the tiny frozen shrimp for my shrimp dip. I'll have to look for the canned ones.
For the turkeys we get the butchers brine from Walmart. It’s so good. We soak it the day before. I have one soaking now lol.
Our family members go to multiple places on Christmas eve for more formal dinners, so I do a Nachos/Taco bar and a dessert bar at my house on Christmas day. We enjoy the laid back, help yourself vibe where we can focus on visiting and fellowship.
