About this video: In Container Garden Challenge 2021 | Let’s Plant Herbs, Denise Jordan shows homemakers how easy it is to plant a container garden. This one…she fills with herbs because she is encouraging her homemakers to plant some herbs…just a little pot on the window sill or as many as they like, but to just plant some kind of herb they would like to cook with. Creators are also invited to jump in on the container garden challenge hosted by This and That with Denise Jordan and Lacee’s Space. This annual challenge allows you to get as creative as you like in your container garden. It’s always interesting to see what people choose to plant.

  1. Happy Mother's Day Denise. Have a blessed day, stay safe and healthy 🙏🥰👍👌🙏🦅🔔🗽🇺🇸🙏

  2. Happy Mother's day Denise, and all the other mothers here! One tip, I grow my rosemary separately, they can take off, and become quite a shrub. I've got a number of containers around my backyard. They're planted with everything from Yukon gold potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, and green beans, a bush variety. I have smaller pots holding my herbs, haft of which I started from seeds. I have dill weed, chives, basil, and parsley(Italian flat leaf), English thyme, and garden sage. The last three I purchased from Kroger. The 2 last herbs I want to get back into my container garden are bay and rosemary. I'm going to go to a local independent garden center to find those, as I want them to be larger than what you find at Lowes, etc.

  3. Will still be bringing plants inside for a few more nights, then we are promised a warm up. Today is home reset day with a few errands . Use-it-up salad night . Although I am much older than you, we share a lot in common.

  4. I’m going to plant some herbs—hopefully i can find some good deals—I might wait til next week though, it’s been so cold!

  5. Hi Denise. This is what I want to do. Thank you so much for the invitation. 🤗❤️🙏

  6. Hello dear Denise! I just loooooove lemon Thyme and Lemon Basil! Haven't tried to grow spicy Oregano or chives but who knows: maybe I can try to include those into my garden for your challenge this year, LOL! Thanks for the motivation! Thumbs up to your hard work!

  7. Thanks Denise for hosting this collab. I always look forward to doing my now yearly container garden.

  8. I know that little pot is going to smell amazing. I love to walk past an herb garden or a mint garden and pinch the leaves. You get such n amazing fragrance. I have chocolate mint that I absolutely love. Beautifully done. TFS
