Mincing Lamb + Harvesting Radishes & Spinach

A busy week, a busy day! Harvesting radishes and spinach, plus saving some money by mincing a rump of lamb, myself. It’s hard to believe the year’s almost over, but I’m looking forward to the New Year, 2023. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!🤩👍🏾 “A garden is a grand teacher. 1. Good Morning Robert. Watching you on the big screen of my chrome book is so much more enjoyable. The emojis are not as good🥰

  2. Love your mincer Robert…was it shoulder I love shoulder but it is fatty…yes I use bleach water I always add pint of it to my whites wen I’m washing white bedding …spunky was adorable it is strange even not seeing him…I’ve lost pets in tge past and sometimes you forget they have gone…that wasn’t a bad crop of spinach…oh how wonderful to see all slinky’s friends on your walk…take care Robert…

  3. Loved this very interesting video..Was thinking you could make Turkish style Minted Lamb kebabs…with a side of gently steamed spinach. Japan has some lovely parks and water features. Spunkys friends never forget the kind man,who ruffles their fur. A glimps of the Dentist chair would …be fun .😉

  4. My friend, I just love whatching your videos. The sound of your voice is so good, you should be in Hollywood. Merry Christmas.

  5. Spinach is probably my favorite green. It keeps well and I like to sauté it with mushrooms. Very versatile. 👌

  6. I've been too busy too busy to give my garden the attention it needs! My second attempt at growing Daikon Radishes has produced two. Same with broccoli. Don't remember how many I planted. Got to replant the carrots. Would like to move my planter boxes to get more sun, but only after my cousin moves his old car to where he can store it. Anyway, your cooking has put me in the mood. So it is time to make a batch of Cornish Pasties!

  7. Good evening, Robert! It's 11:00PM your time, I hope all is well. Thank you for today's episode! You got a nice crop of spinach for a test bed! When you asked should you pull it all or leave some, I was like, "leave some". You did… those little plants which need a bit more time. Someday I'd like to get a vacuum food bagger. Maybe you too? Your house is beautiful. The hibiscus looks so pretty – what a lovely flower. Too bad about the yellow trumpet bush – it didn't do anything this year, did it? Maybe it's got some annual cycle or needs to be put in a dark room for a few weeks to promote flower growth, or something. I am not an expert by any means! That mantle goes to you, my friend! I really enjoy your forays into the city – to see the people, the architecture, the roads, the parks. Thanks for that. I loved how the 4-legged friends remember you on your walk through the park in the morning! That made me smile and warmed my heart. As Anna said, "Spunkys friends never forget the kind man,who ruffles their fur" – that's for sure! Sleep well, Robert!

  8. Hello Robert! Another fun video to watch. Snowing again in Omaha. We have very little access to lamb meat here. I wished we did. The hibiscus is sure beautiful! I loved seeing the Tokyo apartment buildings, roads, and lovely park. Awesome trees there! Fresh spinach from the garden, how awesome is that! Cheers!

  9. Hi, Bob! Pretty rainbow artifact while you are folding your tent at 1:18. A very festive Samue. 🙂 BTW love your background music. As always, thank you very much.

  10. I started your video to have something to listen to while I worked from home, but before I knew it, I was completely neglecting my work in order to just watch your video. Haha. Well done, sir! Keep it up!

  11. A lovely video ,Robert, on this Friday . Thanks so much for sharing. It’s been -12-16 cel today here in Finland.

  12. My dad used to add a couple slices of bread to the meat grinder at the very end to push the last of the meat out. This was before the days of the Cuisinart grinder, it was a hand grinder that you clamped to the kitchen counter!

  13. You really are a talented gardener. I didn't know you could grow hibiscus indoors.

  14. Greetings Robert, I hope you have a Happy Christmas and a wonderful new year! ❄️🌲☃️ Looking forward to seeing which recipe(s) you will select for the lamb mincemeat. Nice hibiscus plant! 🌺
