  1. Boom! What a year – thanks once again for all your support and let me know your favorite moments from Junk Food Japan in the comments! Here's to a great 2023!

  2. Not a question but appreciation comment. I found you through Chris at the start of this channel, absolutely loved your personality and energy. I can't wait to see more of you in the future and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  3. I always knew that you looked familiar, the imagination show on NHK was my favorite thing to watch when i was younger. I absolutely loved you there

  4. Nicholas if you are in Kyoto you need to try: Shirakawa Ramen 63-1 Jodoji Nishidacho, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto. Wonderful Ramen…

  5. It'll be great if you can get the trashtaste boys and Chris to do a crossfit wod together, thrusters and echo bike combination please 😂

  6. Thoroughly enjoyed this video! Thank you for sharing so much about your journey and family. Can't wait to see what you accomplish in the new year. I'd love to see a collaboration with the Trash Taste boys and the girls from Tokyo Creative.

  7. Every and each video makes me want to go to Japan even more, specially for the food and culture. Did you ever think to do a "travel food guide"? Love your work, from the Chris training to your love for food.

  8. Nick's accent sounds so much like my Midwestern dad I legit thought he was American. I love Nick's story what an interesting dude!

  9. Chris' video reminded me that you are a fighter. I always remember you eating and documenting those mouth watering food that I already forgot you do martial arts 😅

  10. I have been a fan of your channel for about 4 months, was not aware that you had partly grown up in Denmark, but still have to draw attention to something that you yourself are probably aware that you have forgotten Namely, what is Flæskesteg without Rødkål? Happy Merry Christmas and Happy New Year/ God jul og godt Nytår to you and you Famillie from a Danish Fan

  11. I’ve lost 180 lbs doing intermittent fasting !!🥋 Merry Christmas 🎄 I’ll be in Japan on Tuesday 🎉

  12. Interesting video. Regarding bread, if you don't already have them, consider buying a grain mill and an automatic bread machine. Make your own flour with a mixture of grains and beans. That flour should be healthy, You might need to add gluten so the bread rises properly. With experimentation you might be able to make a bread that tastes similar to your Danish bread. As for making your own Danish style cheese, perhaps you can find a recipe online. Bon appetit. Velbekomme

  13. Merry Christmas to you and family. Your Camera/Editor: Paul Ballard is top notch. Would be great to see you get together with 5am Ramen for a delicious bowl of Ramen 🍜. Itadakimasu Umai🙏

  14. happy Christmas, honestly I'd like a video about what the native people of japan ate if anyone knows. before the introduction of noodles and all that.

  15. Would love for you to work with trash taste for an episode or be on their podcast, also can help their bone or boneless chicken argument 😊 love your videos and god jul Nic!

  16. "As I laid in the fetal position hiding from my opponent I came to the conclusion that I needed to get stronger." 😂 Holy cow I can't stop laughing at this imagery

  17. Hey Nick! After a boat load of negotiating with my work, and my wife's work, we are finally returning to Japan at the end of February for a whopping 2 months! I'm not sure if you remember, since it was way earlier this year, and I've changed my YouTube name since then, but I was dead set on using your videos as a guide for a food Cruise across Tokyo. Well now I've got just over 2 weeks to put my money where my mouth is, and I just got to know, of all the awesome places you visited in Tokyo since the start of your Channel, what are your top five? Because I for sure I'm not missing those five 🙂

  18. Great video as always! thanks to everyone making this high quality show and looking forward to what you're up to next year 😊

  19. Great video Nic! I think my question was a little to long winded to make the cut, but the ones you picked were great. Happy Holidays and have a safe New Year!

  20. After chessboxing i binged some older vids i hadn't seen and it was great seeing the channel number grow.
The genuine enthusiasm is very captivating!
Keep it up and happy holidays

  21. Great to learn more about the man behind the channel. You have an interesting life story haha, leaving your (second) home country at 18 for a completely new country to pursue MMA. It's always interesting to peel back the layers of the people who run our favourite Youtube channels 🙂

Also.. you have to reveal more about that fight at 0:57! Why was the other person mad at you??? Did he get any punishment for beating up a 13-14 year old kid??

  22. Your mom is a warrior! Man supporting you to chase your dream at that age! That must have been terrifying for her.. Amazing!
