Patio Container Garden in a Small Space

This is my Hawaiian Tropical Garden. It’s been a year since my last video. Many things have changed for the better during these challenging few years, while I’m waiting for other things to get better.

Container gardens are convenient because you can move things around if things didn’t turn out the way you had hoped. Not everyone can afford a large yard, so we make due with what we’re given, and small areas can transform into beautiful spaces of peace and meditation.

I live in Hawaii, and I wanted a tropical Hawaiian garden, but I’ve always admired Monet Paintings, so my garden was inspired how Monet used colors. My garden is in continuous motion as I modify and tweak to get the results I desire.

Many times I sat in the garden in the early dawn with coffee and my thoughts, and many times in the evening I sit with my tea and ponder my earlier thoughts.

Caring for the garden helps not to get lost in my thoughts and it provides something physical to focus onto as I try to resolve challenges that face me and my family.

  2. Hi Gerald! I didn't realize that you are posting again. I really missed you! You have such a nice, soothing voice to listen to. Your container garden is quite beautiful. I appreciate you saying the names of plants. I have several that you showed as houseplants, so it's fun seeing that you grow them, too. Your channel was mentioned on another channel, so I had to see for myself that you are posting again. It was mentioned on Nick Pileggi's YT channel in one of the comments. How are the grandkids doing, and your kitties? I'm sorry you had a rough 2020 and am hoping you've had a better 2021. I'm going to watch more of your newer videos. Thank you so much for sharing!
