That opening battle was metal as frick…
Why does some of the dwarfs sleeping in the doorway to the hospital? What's going on there?
Kiln -> quicklime -> lye -> soap. Plus quicklime + ash = potash = fertilizer, IIRC. Fertilizer tends to be used far more quickly (or at least regularly, if you use it at all), so you're likely to want a decent stock of quicklime always around; soap OTOH, while fairly essential for wound care, doesn't tend to be used in bulk unless you've a lot of bad combatants & they fight often
I do like that new 'parlay' mechanic! It gives you an option to bug out of or at least delay a critical battle if you don't have the time/skill to defeat the OpFor 🙂
Lead cages, for when you can't be bothered to get the executioners axe.
Missing the longer episodes.
Seriously enough of the boosting what was and mods and stick to what this game is offering. All the BS and chatter you're missing what needs to be done for what could be done. Yes the ver.50 has stuff missing but is finally got the game to where it's popular… Missing out on the Mayor demand was totally unneeded and as you now have a Baron you need far better quarters as in much more elegant.. using blocks of precious stone or metal as floor probably would have helped more that 3 doing the engraving.
Pretty sure clothing doesn't have just one category but is grouped by body location. So footwear, handwear/gloves, headwear, armor, etc…
Those pigs were released on their own rehognizance
15:21 I had to laugh at the random bone in the empty tomb room. (Maybe there was a coffin in there, but then why the bone?) Using the rectangle select in your catacombs will give you a list to select from. And I keep trying to click all of your notifications down the left side to see what is going on. (Obviously doesn't work,) I was so curious on what died right before you unlocked the catacombs.
Hey Quill, where did you source the vein mining mod? I can't find it on the Steam Workshop.
I had a group of "evil" dwarfs turn up to my fortress and demand an artefact, cos they were dwarves i thought 'why not', then went from being my enemies to immediately being friends, and that lead to the Capital and King moving to my fortress…
