Christmas is almost here and we will be taking a couple videos off for the upcoming holiday. During Christmas week and New Year’s week we will not have a video on Mondays those two weeks. We will still have our Wednesday and Friday video. We are not going anywhere we love what we do here and have so much to come in the future. That Japanese teapot is gorgeous. I have collected teapots for about 25 years. I started when my Mom gave me her Grandma's tea set. I have a small Japanese teapot I bought at a boot sale when our daughter lived in England. You can see light through it, it is so thin. . There was a much bigger one with it but couldn't take it as we were flying back and had no room. You two are the best and so much fun. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas Jeff and Angela! What a year it has been🙂. You took us through the white, blue, beautiful beginning of the year, cold, yet fulfilling, even comforting. Then through the spring of awaking/growing/blossoming plants, flowers and trees with muted colors everywhere and hinting of more to come. Then onto a summer exploding in the most extraordinary colors, shapes, sizes and designs resulting in a warm, peaceful, restful place just to sit down with a glass of tea for a spell. Then onto fall, perhaps the most spectacular and varied of time of all where color almost overwhelms and reigns supreme. Finally onto approaching winter where once again, colors begin to fade, leaves begin to fall and the cold begins its reign, the greatest display of color, design, baubles, decoration, swags, elves,presents, you name it,replaces the cold and loss with a celebration of hope, love, spiritualness and rebirth, a gift of a new and better beginning. That all of this is done INSIDE is remarkable, but let us not forget that you have mirrored this in your outside garden as well. Add to this tutorials on identifying and differentiating between vintage materials, arranging tables, vases (you name it) fixing damaged stuff, storing stuff, bronzing stuff, building a pantry, laying carpet, fixing meals, etc. etc. etc. Truly a gift to us all. Hopefully my (our) appreciation is a gift in return. Have a very Merry Christmas with your family and a Happy New Year.
