I have an auto watering system for times I need to be away for an extended period of time. Using inline drippers and a fountain pump.

I used to be a commercial fisherman and left regularly to go to work for two weeks at a time. My wife was the one who took over and managed the grow while gone. I give her tons of credit she only killed one plant in hydro in two yrs.,..
I e since switched to organics -living soil. And blumats watering systems. Now life is easy peasy…..

The responsibility is on you. Give her clear and concise instructions, pre mix where possible and hope for the best.

It's tough. My 84yo Mum takes on watering, all 5x tents with my nephew helping her. [they benefit!]
* I mix up 30L of nutrient & distribute as needed. If/when that runs out, just use water. 😉
* 3x tents are vegetative, the 2x bigger ones are flowering.
* Ensure all the auto stuff is working for her: lights, fans, timers, cameras, monitoring screen etc

Great video, she is a keeper😁. When I am gone for long periods of time, I set up an automatic drip timer, that I can control from my phone. I also have 4 cameras inside allowing me to monitor what is going on. I have things like my heater, dehumidifier, and humidifier plugged into a smart plug where I can control them with my phone as well. Before leaving I defoliate and tie them down (if they are flowering) after doing all this I pray 🙏🏾🙏🏾😁

I went in a three week vacation about a month ago. Came back to a full blown gnat infestation. Other than that, I just told the old man to water em’.
Hahaha. Vacation and growing. I don't do it. Especially when it's a fire strain. I just love my plants too much to leave them and risk them both growing to full potential. If I had to leave. I would get someone I trust. Gf, grow buddy to come over and follow my detailed list to care and maintain that prime environment and plant life. 🪴….
