  1. I live in Poland we had a very warm winter, no spring frost, and cold summer. We did have veggies but only carrots, parsnip, leeks, and celery. Rest veggies big no. Because we didn't have spring frost 2 years in a row we had an ocean of fruits.

  2. This could have been 2hrs and I still would have wanted more 😁 Thanks for sharing your passion with us. I'm really looking forward to the flower journey for the wedding 🌼💮💒 and everything else. Happy New Year from Ontario, Canada. 🎆🍾 🎊

  3. Hello Katrina, Thank you for your videos and especially "This 2022 Allotment Review. It's always good when one sees so much enjoyment being had from the time spent on the allotment and the bountiful produce that we gain, this review has given me and hopefully others this enlightened insight into your plot and the time you have dedicated to it. Your review has also enlightened so clearly, the plot includes all the "Wildlife" that have their homes within the allotment and its surroundings, Best wishes for your forthcoming wedding in 2023 and every success for the coming season.

  4. Not surprised about your blackberries. The best year I remember for them was 1976 – sunshine and no rain for 3 months solid.

  5. I love the quiet and private sanctuary that your garden gives. Here in the suburbs of the middle of America, I realize that Im so blessed to have a big backyard and the going to the garden is just stepping out the back door. But there is absolutely zero privacy or sense of being lost in nature. I really appreciate that about your channel, it’s just so lovely and refreshing.

  6. I'm really happy for you and your fiancé. I'm looking forward to watching you grow your own bouquet.

  7. I'm actually more into flowers than veggie gardening so I'm excited! The little hedgehog 🦔 was one of my favorite highlights from your channel also! Looking forward to more flowers and wildlife footage next year.

  8. 💥Happy new year to you and may next year be good for your garden 💥

  9. I have ninja soup maker, it is indeed amazing.👌🏻(if a little noisy)

  10. Love the recap. I loved the day the robin sat on your arm, poop and all, they say it's good luck when a bird poops on you. My daughter gave me a set of obelisks for Christmas, they have a bird on top, I just love those. Once my huge planters thaw out enough I'll get those in the soil. I had such great success with my sowing this yr, I'm SSSSSo ready to get sowing come Feb. From the states, here on the shore in Maryland, I wish you the best ever for 2023.!

  11. You are such a plant nerd, and yes, that is a compliment! Happy Growing from rural New York State in the USA. (My Wife and I are plant nerds too, by the way.) We have a 5 acre organic farm, 20'x48' gothic style greenhouse, grow rooms in the house, about 3 dozen free range laying hens. Hoping to get honey bees, meat chickens, and dairy goats in 2023. We love gardening and raising our own food 🙂

  12. Katrina, as I said at the time, YOU were NOT made redundant … it was the JOB that was redundant. 100K subscribers is not far off. BTW, your review reminds us of your great colour and fashion sense – the sunflower outfit was especially memorable!

  13. Not only has it been the warmest year for us, but it was a warmest year after a triple dip la Nina, so the ocean was absorbing heat.

  14. Pere Noel in France brought me voucher for 50 euros to use at Truffaut – commonly known garden centre(I will be buying horse manure I think or new plastic cover for my greenhouse as the heat destroyed it) and 30 euros voucher for La Ferme Saint Marthe- amazing seed company where I get most of my veggies and flowers and trees/bulbs. We can save seeds from most of their plants they sell, I have been giving them as gifts to my students for the past 3 years. They are building new visitor centre if you ever get a chance to pop in to France, it is also nearby famous agricultural university near Angers. I hope you have a wonderful year Katrina, your videos are always so calming to watch. All the best Katerina

  15. I keep a bag in the freezer that I can keep adding veggie bits and decent scraps to, and when I have enough they go into my ninja blender and then into a crock pot. I feel smug when I save stuff I used to throw into a compost pot which is fine, but…. Anyway, happy new year to you and your fiancé and best of all things in 2023.

  16. Happy New Year to you and Best wishes to you in the new year. I love your channel. So excited about the hedgehog in your garden.
