Lots of good info and inspiration in this conifer garden – they do play nice with the maples and ginkgos and hydrangeas – great advice about the black mulch to highlight the beautiful conifer colors and textures – also, I like the drone footage in your garden tour videos, especially in the fall 👍😃👍

What is the soil pH? Presumably the conifers and JM prefer acidic soil, but the ginkgoes prefer alkaline soil?
I love these cox arboretum videos🤩. When you look closely you can really see the drama in the garden with so many different cultivars from all over the world! So many colors textures and different style branching it’s fantastic👌🏼. I love mr.cox when he said I don’t want a conifer ghetto and I automatically thought of my garden and I guess I have a Japanese maple ghetto garden😅. But I’ll mix it up in the future.
