Hi Garden Friends!

Today in this video I am going to show 3 frost tolerant garden vegetables that you can plant in the garden now or as soon as your soil can be worked. All of these vegetables I started from seed from Botanical Interests.
All 3 of these frost tolerant garden vegetables I planted in my garden over the weekend.
I hope you enjoy watching my video on the 3 frost tolerant garden vegetables. There are definitely more frost tolerant garden vegetables but these are the ones I am growing.

Have you tried growing any of these frost tolerant garden vegetables? leave me a comment below.

Thank you again for watching my video and supporting my channel!

  1. Great video. I have tried growing br I ssel sprouts several times. Plants look great, the brussel sprouts get about marble size and no bigger. So, I grow cabbage instead lol Won't do brussel sprouts again.

  2. Hi! Thanks for mentioning your zone and wished other hpgarden videos would post I on their info as it is very helpful.
I'm in zone 5a and because of low land i think it could edge a 4b sometimes. I've used the cooler weather to finish up a couple new beds and other plant areas. Finally planted blueberries, but will need to cover tonight as I think it will be close to a freeze one more night.
We have rain today which I'm thankful for even if it is sprinkling.
So I'm growing brussels/2 kinds, several cabbages, broccoli and trying celery by winter sowing. First time for celery. By tomorrow I hope to get some of these and beets and carrots planted. I think the heat will be here in no time.
I direct seeded rutabagas last year with success. They do take a lot of room with their leaves. I don't think they were the yellow flesh variety we use to buy from a grower, I think they were purple top.
Couple more days and the heat should be here. Happy gardening!

  3. Awesome on getting the garden started and going up there at Simongetti North !!
I've thrown celery seed in soil before but didn't grow celery however i got some
leaves that i used for cooking!! I used a pack of seeds in a container and never
thinned it out. Haven't tried it since. Never grown Rutabagas either!!
Happy Gardening and Have a good'nnn

  4. I did not know celery was cold tolerant. I always heard it required 50 degrees or more. This is our first time growing celery from starts. We have planted it from kitchen starts before and had some success. We have not grown rutabagas before. I will be watching to see how these grow and how I might adapt them. Thanks for sharing!

  5. I have a couple celery plants out in a dollar tree tower. My other cold tolerant plants that are doing well are cauliflower, radish, kale, Fava beans and cilantro. Most of my strawberries are looking real good too.
I'm anxious to get warm weather plants from my indoor grow room outside.. about another week I should be able. I'm zone 6b.

  6. I like your activity on this channel, I appreciate the work done, I subscribe and I am waiting for you to visit!
