I love stihl. Echo isn’t my favorite but it’ll do
Stihl yes. Echo yes also but I prefer stihl, poulan pro no…
I will keep the echo. Don’t care for the other two👍🙏👍🙏
I only use stihl products bro.
Dude if someone gave me a gift of any piece of new lawn care equipment I would be so giddy. I would say thank you with a genuine smile on my face might possibly give them a hug too, then proceed to try it out. Gifting power equipment is no small gesture. One of my most treasured birthday presents is the Husqvarna 455 chainsaw my father bought me in 2012. Till that point I had been using his saws. I have done so much with it and it is still running strong. It helps too know that Husqvarna also owns poulan.
Craftsman is my favorite brand easy to get parts for and are not that expensive to fix I will never buy a Stihl ever again I bought one used and the older guy used gasoline it was a pile of sh1t
I would surely keep the echo, don’t care much Stihl; but the poulon would surely go back for at least a store credit. The only poulon equipment I’ve had experience with that was worth keeping was the older models.
I have that same poulan trimmer its decent it always starts but its not very powerfull
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I'd use the yellow one till it kicks the bucket
poulan is not a good brand. the engine is just a junk engine.
I'm a stihl man myself, but a gift is a gift. The giver put forth a thought and effort, and most likely genuinely thought they were helping. Use it, save what ever money you make with it, buy what you want when it dies. Be thankful.
Poulan Pro sucks.
ill take any brand running or not
All equipments are great….my personal favourites are kawasaki brushcutter and poulan pro chainsaws
For my farm I have tested chainsaws, trimmers, pruners from stihl, husqvarna and echo but now I have got practically only echo. Good quality/price ratio, good performance for my aims and for me it is very easy and fast to find spare parts.
When we had our shop we sold all three brands of equipment, the Echo was and still is the best. Stihl is way over rated. The Poulan has it's place. Sold many of the Poulans w/the tree trimmer … people just don't use the tree trimmers that often, so buy it based on that thought.
True I definitely replace if it was worn out to a certain extent I'm more of a weed eater type person but yeah I definitely fix it
im taking stihl
If I was gifted any brand trimmer I'd most likely just use it , a gift is a gift never really been one to return gifts. There has only been a few exceptions though it would have to be a really bad gift / wrong size / broken / did not work properly
As long as it runs good as the two high end major brands I'd keep it!! Till it start to shows high hours and wareage
I'd figure that if someone spent their money on me, the least I could do was wear out the present. BLESSSING
This might change your mind, but believe it or not popular pro, Johnsered, and McCullough are all owned by husqvarna so they are of decent quality and that trimmer sounds very familiar to a husky 128ld and also smokes a bit like it, also if you notice the carbs are very similar because the 128 looks like the one on that pole saw but just sideways
