  2. Some beautiful selections! You reminded me that I have some Texas hummingbird mint that I need to get started; thank you! 🙌
I pray the rabbits find another restaurant next year 🤞😂

  3. I've enjoyed the shows you have brought to us viewers. This next season I'm going to just winter sow vegetables. I had great luck this past year with King of the North Peppers, Cherokee Purple Tomatoes, and Rosa Bianca Eggplant. They were a month behind here in NNY Zone 4a, but I still managed to harvest quite a few fruit off them all. You have some very nice choices for flowers there. You and a gal in western Canada really got me hooked on winter sowing. This will be my third year experimenting with it. Thank you for that and a Very Happy New Year to you and your family!!!

  4. Hi Monica Kate! I always look forward to your annual seed winter sowing videos. I’ve been searching the big box stores for seeds but they are scarce in my area. Thanks 🙏🏽 for sharing! Happy New Year’s!!!🎉

  5. Thanks for posting this- I do a lot of winter sowing and was interested to see your varieties and comments! I have grown the calico aster, and it is fantastic for fall pollinators! I bought it as a started plant, and the width was listed as “can spread indefinitely”… and it sure does! It wanted to take over entire garden beds! I tried containing it, but it was really quite invasive here in central Ohio, zone 6A. I ended up digging it up and giving it to friends who were interested in the pollinator aspect- with a word of warning!

  6. Hey Monica…just was couple of your video's and it's really good to found out that we live in a same zone NJ. I also started gardening since last summer and love to get some tips and tricks from u… 🤘🏻💕cheers and Happy New year 💐

  7. I tried winter sowing for the first time last year with minor success. Will try a bit more this year to see how it goes.
Looking forward to seeing your videos since you've had success. Am in Zone 5B so we are pretty close.
One word of warning about the Borage. I grow it for the pollinators in my raised beds and bees love it. Sowed it two years ago and did not have to do anything this year. It was all over the place. Borage is a prolific self seeder and will grow from seed as they start dropping during the same season. I don't personally mind because it's quite easy to pull but some people consider Borage to be quite invasive.

  8. Hello, I’m from MA and I was wondering when would you recommend that I could start this method or is it to late ?
