  5. Megan, I LOVE it all!!! I relate to you so much. We have many of the same plants, I'm from Birmingham but have lived my adult life (many decades) north of Atlanta, AND you love finding sale plants to fill your space! It's just lovely. Always thrilled to see you've posted a video. I'm staying tuned!!

  6. Everything is looking really pretty! I love the circular sittng area. Perfect for having a quiet time of reflection and prayer.
Oh, when you pointed out the Virginia Creeper I cringed. I swear, VC is my nemesis! Lol!
I pulled so much of it out of my gardens over the last two years! It's almost impossible to get rid of!
Anyway, so glad to see your video up today. Take care 🙂

  7. Love your new “private” area!!! I must get myself some hollies and boxwoods. They do add to the cottage feel! 🥰

  8. Loving all the progress you have made. I especially love the cottage garden aspect with the pathway and seating area. In years to come, it will feel like a garden room. A place to go and relax with a cool beverage in the shade. Thanks for sharing and I am looking forward to your next video.

  9. Love, love, LOVE THIS VIDEO.
    GORGEOUS TRANSFORMATION.
Love the Japanese Garden. Love the crunch of you walking on the pine needles. Love that you live nxt door to your folks and you have a walk through. Flagstone path would look nice between… and call it Granny Pass or Pine Pass.
Please show the bubblegum plants. Was wondering how they r doing? I havent even planted annuals yet. Not till after Mother's Day for me, bc of frost possibility.
I LOVE HOW YOU SAY "Pines".
Love a good deal on plants. Love clearance section, too.
    HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

  13. Megan, you bring me so much joy! I have missed you! Those plants were just waiting for you to take them home. Doesn’t it just tug at your heart when you happen upon something so special? We are moving from Terrytown, LA to Foley, AL sometime near the en$ of this year o4 the beginning of next year. I’ve never lived any place other than the New Orleans area. I’m excited to finally get to grow Heuchera & Heucherella and hydrangeas. I’m so looking forward to gardening in zone 8. Maybe I’ll take a road trip to visit your garden. I won’t invade your privacy; I’ll look and admire from afar. Thank you for sharing.

  14. Megan you’ve worked so hard in your new garden! I’m loving your design of your new space. The Japanese garden is truly going to be spectacular next year. So happy to see all your progress. I would still be overwhelmed and have no clue as what to plant. You are a hard worker and I love seeing your progress!

  15. Howdy neighbor to my south. 16. Hello Megan. I haven’t been by in awhile. My goodness you have been busy! I’m in awe of the transformation taking place. I know how much work it is! I too am the main worker in my garden as well. I can really see your vision (like your last home) take fruition. I’m just in love with this new area. Oh my, to have those beautiful Japanese Maples! My property is only 9 years old and in zone 9/10. FULL SUN in almost every bed. You are so lucky to have not only existing but borrowed landscape to enhance your beautiful plants. I wish you continued success and lol I could see me sitting out there with you with a glass of tea taking in your beautiful view. Take care. Jennie

  17. Love this flower bed! I’m so excited for you and your awesome finds. Love that you put a seating area also. This makes me want to jump in the car and go plant shopping! 😁

  18. That boxwood (at 9:21) would be pretty trimmed into bonsai. Cut out all lower foliage to show off the pretty batch structure.

  19. Those pines scare me but I live in hurricane country (coastal NC). They are beautiful in your yard and you are using them to their full advantage.

  20. I have loved watching your videos. I live in Alabama in zone 8A but my garden is full sun. I get a lot of inspiration from your videos both at your previous home and also here.

  21. Megan, it is so good to hear from you !! I kept thinking I was missing some of your videos. You have really been busy and everything is coming along beautifully !! I love it when I find bargains like you did ! The petunias have really filled in . Wish we were neighbors it would be so such fun!!Have a great day .

  22. Hello Megan, wow you’ve done so much since we last saw, it looks amazing. Just a stunning transformation in such a short time. How great to live next door to your parents, I would love that ❤️ I adore your natural cove area with the bench seats and the stepping stones and great deal on the Hollies. Oh I could go on and on, it’s all wow wow wow 🤩🎈☀️🥰💛 I really do think you have my most favourite garden on YT 🎉

  23. Megan your yard is already wonderful. Your vision is so well thought out. I wish I had your pine needles because here we have to buy them for my yard! Keep up all of your hard work. I really did miss the long time between your videos, but it was well worth the wait.

  24. Hey Megan, everything IS coming together! I love it! I like your choice of 3 of each type of plant, where the walkways chose to be and you saw that, the natural cove your property has, I can feel the breezes passing thru. You have a lot of land and your story of how God blessed and you got to have most of your old plants back to use to fill it in, love that! It’s going to be gorgeous in the fall with all that color. Orange is my favorite 🧡 Plus all the fun you have doing it! It’s so rewarding to sit and enjoy all your hard work. I had to laugh, when you see a sale price, that’s the one! For me too 😁 Take care, have fun and God bless my Friend 💞

  25. Sorry but you removed Camelia's to put in box woods huh???? Lol I'd kill to have a camelia anything that makes winter blooms are to cool but its too cold here in Appalachia for them. As for boxwoods their like buttholes everyone has one. That said I had to comment but different strokes for different folks. Down there y'all would say I'm crazy for loving my water oak that stays green til xmas but here when all is dead it's green and looking crazy. Ps don't give out your exact location people are crazy lol

  26. Wow wee girlie… you have really been working away on your little coves and nooks in those trees. What a great job you've done. Just wonderful! 💖 I love the coral bells tucked under my hydrangea trees in the garden… they used to be my favorite little delight.. but I found these precious tiny (enlgish daisy) perennial plants.. and oh my goodness, they tickle my senses silly. Haha Not like the standard daisy at all. Just adorable. And they seem to like the dappled sun/shade. And cute in little pots too. Haha You may want to check them out. 💕

  27. Hey, Megan! You’ve done so much work! Everything looks great! I just impulse bought a redbud.🤦🏾‍♀ I love the white supertunia border. I need more white flowers in my shade beds. You got really great deals! 💗

  28. Hi Megan!!!! I am a bit behind on my video viewing! I have been working and of course working in my own garden as well! Your gardens look wonderful as usual! I love it! I know you are enjoying your gardens and I am sure things still feel new since moving in. Love everything!!! You are doing great!!!!💕🌺🤗

  29. I had to come back and watch this one again. You have so many design ideas in this area.

  30. As much as I like the open concept idea, I really do enjoy having privacy… if it was up to me I would block off any view from the public.
