Rain or shine, spring is the perfect time to visit the Japanese Garden in Seattle. Join me on a tour of the garden – you’ll be amazed at this breathtaking, manicured landscape. It’s a work of art, really! Even though it rained throughout my visit, I appreciated seeing the gentle raindrops on the water in the pond, and hearing the drops landing around on the foliage. In this video, I spend a little time talking about a classic Japanese pruning technique using negative space to accentuate the growth habit of trees and shrubs.
