    I store my canes flat it stops the rain going down the inside and rotting them i still use pallets tho with a little lid on top take care

    The pallet is a good idea,a neighbouring plot owner told me to do that last year. I put my forks and shoes in there too. Glad the fish survived.

    Nice one Terry, and as i watched your wheelie bin set up and saw those whopping big canes on the end, i was thinking if it would be an idea to put some of your green strapping just to tie around all the canes, a bit like you do with your fruiting bushes to stop them tipping over in the fruit cage.
    As with our lovely weather that we have all those stormy winds we are getting might keep em from blowing over and rattling to the extent of snapping and falling out? just an idea for you you don't have to do it if you think that they are ok as is.
