You have already ate one Elephant, it should be so satisfiing, I am impressed with what you have already accomplished. We had some chairs and a table made from oak and my dad had a wood stove he heated his farm house with he later gave me the table and chairs and each chair fell apart because the glue was so dried out I am assuming from the wood stove. LOL Did you make that caulking from dirt and stuff? Or was it store bought? Just wondered.

Recently, they put out a video related to the cyber-bullying they have endured. I would ask that you watch their video and perhaps comment on issues you have experienced. That little mouse that scurried out from under the steps at 8:04 cracked me up. He probably thinks he's the luckiest mouse in those woods. They're so cute, it's a shame they carry disease and ruin food stores. The way he ran out to see what was going on was funny.

I know you will more than likely do this but you should wire brush those logs or you wife will kill you by how much mess the will deposit on the floor over the next 10 yrs.

Must be hard on Cali's eyes seeing that dummy lying in the icy snow, even though from were you stood Shawn we could see it clearly and Cali when you and Dad were moving that canoe we the viewers saw a wee mouse/shrew run out into the clearing, check it for food and then run back into its hidey hole .
Curious Shawn…you and the fam are not living on the homestead full time at this point correct? Do you come and go back “home” daily from the project site or do you stay on site for extended periods? Sub since 12,000 and truly inspired.
