  1. Thank you! I love your channel and all the information you provide. I'm hoping to grow a few things this year.

  2. I try to grow parsley in grow bags but it never germinated I did get the celantro to germinate. I'm new at gardening and so excited so I'm going to replant more parsley and try again

  3. Fennel comes up every year so far. We had arctic cold so will see if it still comes up. Looking forward to seeing your garden. Thanks for the video.

  4. Thats great getting the seeds in.Copper tape 50mm wide works for wrapping around your pots to stop the slugs. wrap it 2 times so its 100mm wide that will stop the big slugs.

  5. Hi Lidl sell seeds from 29p a pack I have tried them and find them good seeds. love your channel keep on growing Val Bedfordshire

  6. I can’t wait to watch your garden grow both inside and out. I live in the desert in Nevada USA so its really hard or impossible to grow outside. I do have quite a few hydroponics planters inside. Good luck.

  7. It's that time of year to start dreaming about planting! You're ahead of me as we can't put anything safely in the ground until after Mother's Day, so I am waiting a bit before starting my seeds.

  8. Where will you keep your seeds/young plants while you are waiting for the weather to be good enough to plant out ? I should imagine that they, especially tomatos, will be huge before that time comes ?

  9. You bring me hope seeing you planting seeds. I hope to have a place to live by spring & that means I can plant veggies & flowers in pots. I especially enjoy leeks, they are delicious in potato soup. Happy greetings from the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Washington State, USA 🌱❀️

  10. Gardening, cooking and knitting are my favourite things to do. I'm like you itching to get back outside in my garden, I'll be sowing my seeds on Saturday. Looking forward to getting my hands dirty. X

  11. My husband made our first raised bed garden out of the bottom half of Ikea bunk bed. It worked out great for many years. The latest raised bed he made out of fencing material.

  12. I can't wait to start seeds! I live in the Northeast of the United States. We've had a very mild winter thus far. My Uncle Clayton always put his pea seeds in the ground March 15th, so that's what I do. 😁 We are focusing on calorie dense and quantity this year. If a crop didn't do well last year it won't be grown this year. It's that sense of urgency to grow as much as we can.

  13. That was a wonderful gift you got for Christmas really nice I’m happy for you to be starting your garden for this new year . My son has a small garden he grows herbs vegetables squash cucumbers kale Asian lettuce and cabbage he’s been doing really great with it he hardly has to buy any of that from the store since he started couple of years ago I’m proud of him ❀️❀️❀️❀️

  14. It's time to plan my garden here in the Northeast, US. I'll start seeds in March (vegetable and herb) and plan to add more of whatever did well last year to supplement and reduce food costs. I'd also like to experiment with some new vegetables/herbs in small quantity, just to see how they do in an effort to be more self-sufficient. My garden may be small (patio with raised beds my husband built from pallets and grow bags), but it is my oasis and peaceful place. Gardening is so restorative.

  15. I have put grass seeds down in my back garden. Mainly for ease. Working 72 hour week to pay bills etc I have a wife and 3 young children. You have lit the gardening bug again . Looks like I'm gonna dig and turn my lawn over for an abundant harvest this autumn……thanks from Skipton just across the Yorkshire Lancashire border.

  16. That was a nice gift. I have to wait a little bit longer. Over here there is always a chance for frost till the 'ice saints'. At the end of the winter I'm going to build a greenhouse and a larger raised bed (HΓΌgel culture). I'm not getting younger, so it is more like thinking 2 steps ahead.

  17. I’m itching to get started. I am going to spend this month sorting my plot out. And I will start with chillis in feb. I’m a fan of raised beds, I use all sorts to extend my growing space. I’ve even used the big IKEA bags to grow spuds in. They don’t last longer than a growing season but they are convenient if you have them knocking about.
