Front Yard Garden

Front Yard Makeover Part Two ( Transformation Time Lapse)

Over the last couple of weeks I have been working on my front yard. I live in zone 9, Houston Texas, so the plants that I added to my front yard garden are suited to my climate zone.

I took a overgrown front yard that had uncontrolled weeds to something with curb appeal. In part one of my front yard make over transformation I removed the weeds then mulched.

In this video, I continued my front yard makeover / landscape transformation with adding new plants, pulling more weeds, removing the mound around my front yard tree and added more mulch. I slowed down the time lapse to show a close up of the actual plants I added. Its also a mad idea to have a mound around your trees, so I removed it. I also added some landscaping stones to my landscape to prevent weeds from over taking my front yard garden bed. I think the landscaping pebbles were a nice touch to the landscaping stones I already had. All I did with the existing stones this time was to level them out and reposition them.

Spacing is important, so I left enough space for my new shrubs to grow. I also planted a new rose by the curb to ass to that curb appeal that I’m looking for.
I have a couple of other time lapse videos, so go check those out next.
