It is not too late to plant green beans here on our homestead? There are actually quite a few things that can be planted before the first frost. If you dont have a garden planted yet…it is not too late. It’s a good thing because Kenny LOVES green beans! This video that is what we will be doing planting green beans for the 2022 garden harvest.

Other things you can get started now…green beans, greens, beets, carrots, cucumbers, summer squash, zucchini, spinach, radishes, peas, turnips, lettuces, chard, etc. There’s a LOT you can get growing even now.

Great video Angie and Kenny, lots of beans will be growing. My green and wax beans died, lol. I did get 3 nice bunches to eat for supper but will get a big box from my Amish neighbors to can up.
We like Blue Lake. We have some Tepary Beans I should get planted as our monsoon rains have started.

I have tried planting snow peas quite late last year, they germinated, but I got nothing out of them.

I love this video! Last year I was getting ready to move up here and planted beans in the very late summer… early fall .. and still picked a few beans! This spring, I live here, and had big plans but the weather has been terrible on all my plants. I've been thinking about re-planting now.
