๐บ Hi, friends! Today I am part of a container garden challenge featuring my vintage farmhouse chair planter design. I am excited to share my tutorial for this container garden and I hope you enjoy it. I am featuring Superbells, Verbena, Petunias and a zonal geranium in the planter. Hi Mary your chair turned out lovely and I can't wait to see it later on in the summer when it is nice and Full. So until next time God Bless you and Happy Gardening.
That is so awesome! Wonderful job. Please show us sometime how the flower looks like when it is already fully grown.
This is the coolest idea, love it! Tfs.
What you did looks just lovely and you repurposed a chair, now the chair and the plants are happy. Thank you for participating in this challenge I have met via Youtube just the most lovely people living in the US and the world. I feel so grateful to have met you. Thank you for sharing with us.
Hmmm…I have a chair that my mom gave me years ago. It's just sitting in the garage now and I think I know what to do with it. That is gorgeous๐
Mary this is so pretty I love how it turned out. I have always loved seeing chair planters but never made one. Thanks for reminding us how beautiful they are. TFS ๐
Good morning Mary, Great job๐๐๐!!! I have seen chairs like this at yard sales and thrift stores but I never knew what I could do with them. The next time I find one, I'm going to buy it and make a planter. Thanks for sharing and hope you have a great day and a wonderful weekend. ๐ธ๐บ๐ธ๐บ๐ธ

Such a neat idea. Very pretty. Joined you, tfs be blessed luv ๐ค๐โค๐ต๐บ๐ฑ
Love it thanx for the ideas ๐ก
What a novel idea! Love it! The only things I may change are to just go over the original paint with a sand paper block to remove any flaking paint and only paint the chair with a clear protective coat, leaving the shabby-chic coat as is. Also might give the chicken wire a good coat as well to help protect it from rust for a bit longer. I might also use the Miracle Grow Moisture Control Potting soil, as I have found it to be especially helpful in containers exposed to the strong drying sunshine of Eastern NC. It is worth every penny I have paid for it and now, it even comes in Organic!
Thank you so much for a lovely video and idea!
Beautiful…. If you were to sell or buy it what do you think it would cost?
