Japanese Garden

(Pro.48 – Ep.1) Creating a Japanese garden with miscellaneous trees.

In this project, we will be creating a new garden with a wooded base. We will create a garden of mixed trees to meet the owner’s desire to live in a space surrounded by greenery.

  1. This looks like it will be a fantastic garden. I'm curious, isn't planting so many trees that close together going to cause problems as they grow larger? Maybe they will be constantly pruned?

  2. Black Magic Cinema camera! I used to own one. Now I am considering Canon C70…have you tried? It has lots of nice functions and also internal ND filters which are very nice. But your footage is also so good!

  3. What a beautiful arboretum in the making! I love how each aspect of the house now has a glorious view of greenery! I can't wait to see the completion of the project!

  4. Love the intro showing everything even the camera. I've learnt a lot from watching the videos over the last few months. The main one though is even if it is raining. Still spray every down with a hose after and it will look perfect.

  5. Another fantastic video, Japanese Garden TV! And I appreciate the fact that although this wasn't a "traditional Japanese Garden", the design was still made to reflect nature in the form of a forest, with many different species of trees. Just lovely. What a dreamy home this will be.

  6. "Sleepers", also known as "railroad ties or crossties" in the U.S., are frequently used in Western styled landscaping projects for edging and/or erosion control banks. I was surprised to see them being used in Japan as well. I am anxious to see the transition of this space since it is not a traditional Japanese garden. Cheers Guys!

  7. 桜が咲き始まったよね。動画を通じて、日本風の庭を見て、一つの日本の文化を勉強になりました。素晴らしい動画です。

  8. Thank you so much for putting the English botanical names. And the subtitles were fabulous in this video. I enjoy these so much

  9. Very much looking forward to seeing this forest garden complete! I wish I could see it 10 years in the future too!

  10. This is going to be fascinating….I love your video's and the learning experience that comes with them… God bless

  11. Good work as always. I have a question could you please tell me what is that white stuff they mix with the soil? And is it good for any tree like a kurumatsu or black pine? Thank you so much.

  12. 5:00. Where can I find a small orange utility tub like the one in the video? No US supplier that I know of carries it.

I love your work and I frequently leave these videos playing on our TV while I do house work or read.

  13. How you control the tree´s growing? They will be replaced when they go big?
