Happiest of New Year to both you, Charlie, and Lala! So lovely to see you back! One of the items I cherish for my Bridal Shower was a gift from the nurses I worked with, we were a large group, one of the women was a painter and got a recipe box and painted it, and then all the RNs each wrote on a recipe card their favorite recipe or two! I was only in my early twenties at the time, and I am well into my 50s and still use them today with love!

I seem to see myself with Josie, an online shopper than a physical store shopper lol. I dont remember her shopping recently on stores. Like when she shops in Bicester Village, always buying few pieces or not end up empty handed even if the title of vlog says “come shopping with me” 😂
I personally wouldn't keep the Zimmerman dress. Its beauty lies in the lovely bordered patterns and if you alter it so that it fits you better, the pattern stands to suffer, so the dress itself will lose a bit of its charm.
The Zimmermann Paisley if you can alter it is a great addition with the great discount. The dressmaker may have an alternative perspective so that it will not be riding up at the front and dropping towards the back. The current cut outs are really balanced and in proportion for that design of dress….. So, do have a good think about it. Get her to pin your edits as you wear it.
But it does fit impeccably at your shoulders, neck, chest area. Instant appeal. It's a special dress – on you. When you mentioned straight away you were sending it back – instant disappointment.
Delighted you got your blacksmith to work out the 'hooks' for you. The kitchen garland framed your 'seasonal' content really well at that location in your home in the lead up to the New Year. Well done, if it was strategic, it worked really well.
Really, really hope you are closer to making arrangements for a ski trip. Looking forward to hearing more about this, when appropriate, of course. Love your trips, abroad in particular.

Love the green linen Zimmerman dress & the paisley Zimmerman dress. Also, the green and white swimsuit is very cute. What brand is it? The white "cleavage" dress also looks very nice on you. You don't have to have a large chest for a dress like that to look flattering🙂

I believe the fabric you’re wondering about is a georgette. A type of crepe. Looks great on you. Monkfruit instead of sugar is a great alternative and doesn’t increase your glucose like sugar. Also, I love that Winter is slower passes in its daily approach. It makes my personal edits or intentions easier to do.

Re: Slippy Shoes
In dance we always sprayed hairspray on the soles of our shoes! Yes it can help to rough them up with rock or sandpaper, but the most immediate hack that always worked for me was spraying a good amount of hairspray on the soles. It works really well immediately without damaging your shoes in the long run.

My friend takes screenshots of recipes on her phones as she comes across them online. Then has the screen shots printed and punches a hole in the corner and puts it on a key ring but you could just put them in a book so you you don't have to hand write them all out. I thought it was smart!
Only issue I see with taking in the excess material on the front of the dress is the circle detail. If it didn’t have a circle and was just a floral or abstract print it wouldn’t matter and would work perfectly. But since it has this full circle print your cutting the bottom of the circle off. Not sure if I like that?
I couldn't agree less with you on the stay and goes!!! I love the Zimmerman dress, the first and last green dress. I don't think any of the white dresses are worth adding to an overflowing white dress wardrobe ( exception perhaps one with mirrors as its so different!) And my least favourite piece of clothing is the large pink dress- I thought you were wearing a nightie that belonged to a very generous sized aunty! Lol. My pics are- the boots, the dark green dresses ( start and end ) the Zimmerman dress and the bathers! Funny how we all have different taste! Xx

Josie and Freddy are such a cuties. I'm a brazilian with a brazilian body wich means basically hip's measures twice my waist so never in my life i could put a skirt ou dress not from head. I had never stop to think about it before they talk about it, its probably waay more practical, but its impossible for all body types. Even Josie being the most obstinate person, I don't think she could make a collection that everyone could pull it from feet to head. But its so nice that both of them think about this small details.
Josie, on the gold mules, I really don't think they do anything for you, on the contrary, it looks like your feet are slipping in front, and the heel is awfully looking!☹
