Part 1 Moonlit wildflower garden #roxysjournalofstitchery down the garden path slow stitch

So excited to be heading “down the garden path” with #roxysjournalofstitchery – thanks so much Rachel from @roxycreations679 and Sarah from @roxycreationsbysarah8878for creating this project. Thought I would share my work in progress thoughts for conjuring a slow stitched, fabric collaged moonlit wildflower garden. My piece extends from a moonlit night garden down to a garden illuminated by the rising sun. I hope you like it and it gives you some ideas. Also thrilled to share a great resource for repurposed fabrics. Can’t wait to see what you’re creating so please leave me a comment if you’re taking part.

  3. I am finally taking part in one of the roxy girls projects, I started Vol 1 but just gave up lol Vol 2 wasn't my thing but vol 3 I have ideas fingers crossed they work or that'll be side lined too lol…glad I saw your link via their FB group coz it's great to see a community of Aussie gals making their mark on YT, just subscribed and waiting to follow along with your project as we progress, looks beautiful so far and those colours on the black just pop

  4. I love your concept for this project. How beautifully florals pop against a dark background. I can't wait to see how it progresses. I am taking part for the first time this time round. I watched the other volumes, but as I am obsessed with flowers they hooked me in this time!

  5. It's so beautiful just the way it's laid out! Don't change a thing! I love the textured fabric that looks like waves and stepping stones. And love the bunny! I've chosen my fabrics now trying to decide what size I want to make it.
