I can't believe what I FOUND HIDDEN in this OVERGROWN nightmare of a Backyard!!!



This by far Is one of the HARDEST things I have done on my YouTube channel!! I am POSTING a new OVERGROWN lawn makeover EVERYDAY for the next WEEK!! Hopefully I can pull it off. I have to find the yard, mow the yard, edit the video and post the video at 3pm florida time Everything day the next 7 days. This yard Was a awesome make over I can’t believe was HIDING under all that tall grass! I thought it was just tall grass but a beautiful back patio was hidden under it!     I grew up deep in the country. When local councils in the Kings Cross area here in London UK, had moved some, and kicked others out of very long standing homes due to needing to expand transport including I think euro tunnel. While passing on a 274 bus I saw poppies of every colour I certainly did not see ever before in my life! A lady behind mentioned to her friend they'd tried to grow poppies of those we were all seeing as we passed, that while at her job at Kew Gardens, she and colleagues tried to grow these same poppies for ten years and still got nothing!! Yet less than a year after demolition of healthy strong buildings, nature shared it's gifts to us, to probably be covered up once again in a matter of months!! I can just think of that bus ride and I can see those many coloured poppies, leaning into the sun! So incredibly pretty, delicate yet strong.

    Probably the man who created that garden area passed away, and the ladies didn't have the heart to take care of it. Or, worse, had a stroke. What a blessing Al is to assist the elderly and infirm.

    This amazing young man NEEDS TO BE SPONSORED BY HIS TOOLS AND MOWER MANUFACTURERS!!!! Can anyone help reach out to them or their advertising agencies and have Al do what all millionaire sports figures do…get paid for ads endorsing their products? He is so deserving. As a self employed entrepreneur maybe Al doesn’t have a 401K or health insurance or ability to set up college funds etc. It would be a pleasure for the tool and mower companies to work with Al and a blessing for him too. Way to go brother! Please accept the blessing if any of us can help you out for a successful and well deserved future!

    We had a queen palm at old house before we retired moved. I met my current partner 10 years ago. Started banning him and gardners taking them! I painted Santa Clause on them and sold for $20 each! Trash is money these days. Also if you cant afford to do besides great guys like Al there are some who will help you clean out to just take what you dont want.

    I commented while at beginning of video. Oh my gosh there is a brick patio under all that! Where we retired to is inland southern calif high desert. Very limited growing range. 4 months of now 105 heat in summer but it snows a week in winter. Interestingly sage type plants grow so English lavendar grows here as well as rosemary. Other things like roses do but have to cut back to ground each year. I grew up more coastal. I could plant seeds in the yard almost year round. Propagate from neighbors yard trimmings! Im so jealous of yards I see on tv movies that are green! Thats could be such a nice oasis. Id get rid of jacuzzi. No one I know that had one kept it. Change spending priorities a bit to hire out the maintanence. Or trade services. Here many work part time for the hiking, fishing tourist seasons. We all trade! They give me jeans to make jean bags I give them a bag or pay them or do mending for them. Its a big trade town. I will trade for enchilads. You never know what others will find valuable to them! Adding my partner mentioned in my other comment is 71 and I'll be 68 in March. Just keep moving!

    A man's house is his castle , and it's so sad that so many castles have been abandoned by the men folk. BEINGhouse proud is not a bad thing , It's really just investing in our future , if we look after something , when it counts , it will look after us, DO unto our properties as we would have our properties do unto us , A little folding of the hands will cause us to regret the day ,later , A stitch , in time saves nine , I'm counseling myself here , I'm alone and sick, and my lawns are getting out of control . , God Bless this great young man , mightily!
