Planting More Corn and some Vegetable Garden Maintenance | Permaculture Life

I managed to get some corn growing pretty early in the season and it’s starting to form cobs. To extend my harvest i’ve decided to do a second planting. The garden bed needs a little preparation so thats what we are doing today. I’m also giving a bit of love to some summer crops that would benefit from more space and light – take a look and I’ll show you what I mean!!

I’ve started a buymeacoffee page – it should be renamed buymeaplant page as I hope to use funds raised here to diversify my trees and shrubs in my food forest. If you’d like to support me – link is below!! Thank you!

  1. Very inspiring as always Linda💕 look at those sunflowers 🌻 Stay cool this week lovely, going to be a hot one later this week xx Cathi xx 😘

  2. We have corn coming out of our ears here.
the best crop ive ever had.
I planted another 50 seeds yesterday. should pick them before it gets too cold

  3. Golden Bantam is known as "the corniest corn" with a rich flavour that I remember from the 60s, not the super sugariness that we get these days.
I so envy you your long growing season! Just a little south of you, across the water, I never get 12 frost free weeks in summer, often much less. This year our nights have remained cold, even when a very few days have warmed up.
