2023 is officially the year of the 3-Yard Quilt!
Each week, a new video will be posted for a quilt made from the 3-Yard book series by Fabric Cafe. Three one yard cuts turn in to one lap sized quilt top. Easy enough, right?
The goal for these quilts is to use as much of my stash as possible in order to clear space for new fabrics, notions and more! In the end, the quilts will be donated to local charities and individuals in need of a new quilt to call their own.

3 yard quilts are so satisfying. I've made a bunch of them in the last year and a half, and Garden Path is the one I've made them most. It will be fun to see how you play around with them this year!

What are size of the strips you cut?

If you only do the Fabric Cafe quilts for the year – surpassing 50 would be easy! They are fast, fun, easy, and enjoyable. I have done several from different books! I have a huge stash (2+ miles); and need to commit to picking a focus and matching it up from stash. Think I did a dozen 3-yarders in 2022 with 36 total. Looking forward to following the progress.
I see you dont press you fabrics before cutting. Does this ever become a problem?
