  1. What is that beautiful-artsy yellow flagstone that you are standing in front of at the beginning of the video? Did you opt for flagstone rather than repointing your brick-front? I have never seen the two mason-works on the same structure, and it is so very interesting! Thank you for taking us all along on your moving adventure – looking forward to accompanying you on this exciting journey!

  2. Your new home is lovely and no doubt as you and Hubs put your footprints into it, you will be a Blessing to many❣️🏡

  3. Es un duelo….mudarse dónde has vivido tantos años,pero si tienes proyectos, sueños y planes NUEVOS Y MEJORES….pronto te renovaras y te sentirás FELIZ!!!

  4. The worst move (after moving many time times growing up) was moving a mile away. We decided to make one large UHaul trip, but many daily pickup truck hauls. Don’t recommend it! It took a week and I lost 10 pounds!

  5. I can’t stand the thought of moving! Too many drawers stuffed with too much stuff. 31 years in this place. I wish you well! 🌹

  6. Yes, moving is exhausting. I have never been so tired in all my life. Getting a house ready to sell, packing and moving. Actually the sale process is stressful. At the same time, building a new house and dealing with payoffs and realtors. Cleaning the old house and unpacking the new one. Having painters arrive two days after you moved. All exciting but exhausting and hard to manage at times. Moving two pets too. I will say that I had wonderful help; I.e., movers, cleaning staff and friends. Funny story…..I could not locate the sheets for the beds the night we moved (someone had put them in a closet box), so I grabbed my dogs blanket and slept on the box mattress! LOL

  7. I'm excited and sad but it is a good move forward for you and Hubs. I cannot wait for your foundation plantings to begin. I have garden equipment storage ideas if you are able to have a taller fence. Glad you have Johanna helping.

  8. Linda, are you concerned about what will become of your beloved garden? I can't imagine the number of hours you spent over the years making it into the beautiful venue it is. I'm looking forward to the new garden and getting ideas for my own.

  9. Had insomnia last nite, ended up watching some of your old videos, and I had a thought. Would you consider keeping your dining table and storing it in the garage, just incase you need it for the Holidays, entertaining. Or, can you use it as a desk in your office? The chairs are so pretty, hate to see it go.

  10. It would be interesting to know what the new owner does with the property. If they are amenable to us being shown that of course. Not everyone wants their life on youtube.
You are doing well. Moving is an exhausting, and sometimes seemingly endless, process. And then it takes some time to find your feet again in your abode. I've been nearly 13 years in my current home, rhe longest time other than my childhood home that I've been anywhere, and the move to leave it will be the worst I think.
