A fresh start, a New Year! I am SO excited to get planning, working and dreaming of all the gardening things. I have compiled a January Checklist to keep me on task with a biggie happening in February. I am looking forward to checking things off this list and I would love to hear what’s on your list. Let’s start this year off by getting our hands dirty and enjoying that sunshine.

Thank you for watching!

  1. Really great check list! Thanks for reminding me of keeping things organized. Our weeds were so crazy last year. I winter sowed first time last year too. I used water jugs and red solo cups in clear plastic containers. I found snap dragons and cut wild flowers did really well in the red cups. Mainly because I was able to leave them in there for a while till I had time to plant like a pot. It was more work poking holes in rectangular clear plastic bins/lids to hold the cups but so worth the ease of getting them out and organized 20 different varieties. The jugs do great too but some either the dog knocked over or blew over during the seedling process. I’m still going to do both methods again this year. It was so much fun! ❤😊

  2. Thanks for the checklist. What seeds worked best for you? I did several annuals & perennials last year and it seems that only the marigolds actually survived the whole process. Will try again but curious about what worked well for you.
