  1. Absolutely beautiful! Snowdrops are SO lovely…and a hopeful encouragement in the new year! Thankyou Diane….❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  2. I love the idea of painting a bookmark for each month. Nothing beats a real book! I love painting along with you

  3. Diane would this have been a good one to use that frisket I think it's called on the flowers to keep them white?

  4. I love the idea of painting a bookmark or three for each season! And giving a book with a painted bookmark would make a lovely gift! Had a great time painting these snowdrops! Thank you!

  5. Diane you make it look so easy! I love watching you. Ditto to all the ladies who think seasonal bookmarks are a good idea. I m kinda thinking…monthly, or is that too much to ask?

  6. These are delightful and pretty. Yes, I’ll probably do a pen and ink touch here and there… you know how I a, with that!
Best wishes with hospital visit and all the oh-so-fun electrical mishaps! I have a few of those too!😅. Take care my friend!❤️

  7. Gorgeous snowdrops, so beautiful.
I especially love that you made it simple and it doesn't take up too much time, because these days I don't have the privilege to play and create so much.
    Thanks Diane 😊

  8. Feeling under the weather today. This made me feel so good and comfy. I love hearing your rooster in the background. Thanks for sharing your lovely content. ❤

  9. I think these are gorgeous. My sister in Nova Scotia is having a Birthday at the end of the month – I am going to try these on her Birthday Card. I do have a question: with all these pieces of art that you do everyday – how do you store them? In file folders, a drawer, on a shelf? I am facing an issue that I have a bunch of papers with watercolour paintings on them that I wouldn't sell – and a bunch of sketch books filled with watercolours. I just don't know how to store them and what they can be used for down the road? Thank you again for another wonderful tutorial & I hope your husband's appt went well….🙏❤

  10. Thank you for this video, i recently found you just when i was thinking: here in Holland: i want some watercolor lessons.
Nou i made a christmastree en i made this snowdrops. i really love your video's. I think you are very inspiring and make good and easy video 's .

  11. That's a lovely green gray! Btw daughter & I say "that thing" alot vs. Scanning the brain for the appropriate word. Not Unusual especially when your mind is already busy.

  12. That was lovely, Diane as always!!!
I enjoyed listening while challenging myself with a small sketch book from the second hand store. It's handmade paper is only good for dry mediums. But it's less intimidating to me to play with today.
Not sure if I've said this already, but I hope you and your loved ones, ( the 2 leggeds, 4 leggeds, & winged included), have a healthy, peaceful, and happy 2023!!! And to this entire community, too!!!
    Gratitude, and hugs!!
    Susan

  13. I have started watching your videos first thing in the morning while I do a half hour of stand up exercises from a DVD. I hate to exercise but I love your videos. Thank you for keeping me company. Then I watch them again in the evening while I play around with my paints. You're the best. ❤

  14. Happy new year, Diane! What a wonderful tutorial for us as we begin January. I love snowdrops! Thanks for sharing!

  15. Thank you so much for this video! The rooster accompaniment was an added bonus. 🐓 I wonder if you were talking about the American Association of University Women? I knew an older woman that was active in a chapter. They have an annual book sale to raise funds for scholarships. I look forward to a seasonal or monthly themed bookmark. Books are great. Just need to make more time to read all of mine. Thank you again!

  16. Love the snowdrops! A good ideas the bookmarks! You make me want to start painting again! I discovered your videos in December. Thank you for sharing your time and teaching us!
Happy New Year 2023 to you and your loved ones! 💗💐💗

  17. Thank you for the video Diane. I, too, love books and bookmarks. I like the tactile qualities. I know it sounds weird, but having a book in my hand is quite comforting for me. I always look forward to your videos, and I am rather fond of hearing Gabrielle.

  18. I had to laugh when you started the background by saying you are not painting a car … when I first started watercolour I went at it with gusto … my patient teacher told me to slow down for I was not painting a house … thank you Diane for teaching us to enjoy the process ❤️

  19. I like to make bookmarks that say « Please return to Amanda « on the back. I put them in every book I loan out.

  20. I think great minds must think alike as I painted several before christmas and then painted white birch trees on some and thought i should do some every month. This will be so much fun as I love the lovely ideas you come up with. Makes me feel like I have a friend to paint with!

  21. I loved this, and will definitely be trying it.
Thank you for the tip to add purple to make dark green.

  22. I’ve never seen these flowers. I live in central Arizona never snows here. Desert only. I love the bookmarks. I belong to a bookmark club and we live all over the U S and send each other bookmarks we make.
