5 SUPER Productive Edible Plants to Grow in a Small Space // Urban Permaculture Garden

I have created a list of 5 super productive edible plants to grow in a small space. I’m growing these in my Urban Permaculture Garden right now and they are killing it! Great for small space gardens or anyone who wants to grow a tonne of food! You don’t need a massive garden to grow your own food. Whether you live in an apartment or suburban block these productive edible plants will provide you with so much abundance.

I always research plants before I choose to grow them as I have a small garden and i want to make sure I use that space to grow super productive edible plants. I also select permaculture plants that have many different uses and benefit other plants or insects in my urban permaculture garden. I had seen the Kumquat tree growing in many other permaculture gardens and I was so impressed by its abundance of fruit.

Creating diversity with productive plants will mean that I can grow all my own food. Growing all your own food in the suburbs is completely achievable. Growing fruit in pots can be great for small space gardening and choosing the right fruit trees will make a world of difference.

Get started growing your own food today with these super productive edible plants in your urban permaculture garden!
