Mint Propagation Ideas ๐Ÿ˜€ #shorts #gardening #trending

To propagate mint indoors in water, you will need a healthy stem cutting from a mint plant. Here are the steps to follow:

Fill a jar or glass with water and place it in a sunny spot.

Cut a stem from a mint plant, making sure to include a few leaves at the top. Remove the lower leaves so that only a few leaves remain at the top of the stem.

Dip the cut end of the stem into rooting hormone powder (optional)
Place the stem cutting into the jar or glass of water, making sure that the leaves are above the water line.

Change the water every 2-3 days to keep it fresh.

Within a week or two, you should see roots starting to form on the stem cutting. Once the roots are at least an inch long, you can transfer the mint cutting to a pot with soil.

Keep the mint well-watered, but be careful not to over-water it.

Once the mint has established itself in the soil, it should start to grow and produce new leaves.
Note: Mint can be invasive, so it’s best to keep it in container or in a bed with a physical barrier to prevent it from spreading too much.
