I remember when that was 2.00 for the same meal and it as not as bad for you either.
We usually have one lunch a week at our local mom and pop joint. It's not bad price and it keeps a local family employed. If we have errands we take a cooler or a thermal lug with drinks and a protein bar
Oh my gosh I've been trying to remember what you YouTube page was and I actually got a notification! I joined when the hurricane happened. I have some catching up to do! Speaking of McD's I just cant eat it anymore because I feel blah and a brick in my belly! So it's been years! I remember the dollar value meal! Lol! I try and stock up on peanut butter, the kind that that is more natural. Though I am suspect on bread since I found a 1/2 loaf that should of been molded! Why isn't bread molding??😬 I looked it up! Yikes! Thank you for what you do and seems like you all are doing well. 🙏🕊
We don't go out to eat anymore I think in the past two years I might have gotten a sub at subway maybe twice last time was 4 months ago and one sub was $15 and that was the cold cut the cheapest they had I said no more, so I eat at home
Their business plan must be to rob the remaining customers.
Went to Mc d'S about 3 years ago after a l9ng absence from fast food and was appalled by how salty the burger was!! Have not been back, I'm spoiled by homemade burgers
20 years from now people will be remembering when a cheesburger cost $12 and was real meat. At this rate, a burger will be $60 in a few short years.
My husband and I more than 15 years ago stopped eating at fast food restaurants. Matter of fact, we barely ever go out to eat.
It used to be that $15-20 an individual would be the going rate for going to like the 99 Restaurant or Fridays or something. Now a cheap, thin, and smaller patty in a burger meal is an absolute waste of money
I can make beef stew for 6 people for that.
That’s crazy. We went to our favorite Mexican restaurant today and had two lunch plates, a coke and a margarita for 22$. Great service and great food. 16 for that stuff, no way.
One of my family names is Macdonald. I don’t get any royalties in the company but I can guarantee I am blood related to this family corporation.
Stop eating fast food!! You might as well drink poison. Wow
I literally don't know how these fast food places are still in business, the prices are beyond ridiculous and the amount and quality of what you get is laughable. If I eat at one the only thing I'll buy is their dollar menu stuff.
I spent $25 at Dairy Queen 12 years ago just to get a meal to fill me up. Now it would probably cost me $50 for the same garbage. I have boycotted all fast food and restaurants in general since they required a clot shot passport. Even though the take outs didn’t actually demand a passport, I don’t trust them, I think they will put mRNA into the food.
We dropped Mc'Ds, Taco Bell, and most of the rest…saved enough in 2 months for 6 months of long-term, shelf stable food. Will never go back!!!
I don't do Macdonalds or any other fast food places. I eat at home my pantry is full. It is wasting money. Right now I am making a loaf of bread. When your out carry snacks with you so when they get hungry there is something to hold them over. Thanks Autumn
Can't be cost him $16 large sodas a dollar 25 a basket of fries is $3 so that means the hamburger cost him $12.75 I don't think so
It's been a very long time since I ate fast food. Very long. In 9th grade my school was right next door to the best burger joint around. (It's still there) and I'm 62 now. We would walk over there at lunch and for .99 cents we could get a huge cheese burger, fry and small drink. Loved Dubs! Bet it's not like that anymore. NOTHING is the same anymore. Sad. I feel so horrible for all young families with kids. How are they doing it? I'm barely doing it and I'm all alone. Struggles for the young. Not fair.
i dont fast food either but hot damn those prices for eating human flesh?
I haven't stopped laughing since the McPlant, an attempt to peddle fake meat burgers in the trashiest of fast food dumps.
I got a foot long sub sandwich for 5.99 and a bag of chips for $1.59 at Subway for 8.15 and I bought a bottle of soda for 2.59 and candy bar for 1.79 at Walgreens for a total of $4.66 at Walgreens for a total of 12.81 for lunch today as I had to buy a soda and candy bar to go with my lunch at Walgreens as there glass refrigerator door smashed in at Subway
No way would I pay 16.00 for a single meal at McDs. I just paid 13.06 at Cook Out today in Anderson SC for my wife AND me combined. Drinks, burger, and 2 sides for each of us for 13.06. Still more than a year ago, but not 32.00! We only eat out once a week and never go more than 15.00.
Once a month I order 2 med pizza pies with a free topping on each for 16 $ from a good pizzeria. No cooking or dishes good movie with the kids. 16$ well spent.
So much down talking. “ you can cook cheaper at home”
But- some people and sometimes you don’t have too many choices. Husband and I work electric and hvac work. 6~7 days a week. 12+ hours a day. We drive from house to house fixing things for our customers. And we get hungry. Where do we stop to cook? How do you quickly cook a meal? Would you like to wait an extra hour or so for us to run home and cook our lunch while it is 95 degrees outside and your air conditioner is broken? Some of us do the best we can. After work, I’m too darn tired to hop to in the kitchen and cook anything at all much less from scratch. We are older people and running a grueling schedule even for young men. Please cut some people some slack. We do what we can. And sometimes it is the cheap crap on the sales menu
I would not eat at McDonalds if I was starving, Have you not heard what is in their FOOD.
We take sandwiches or wraps and water with us to town.
🙏Hi friends of ABG I have videos for you on bible prophecy and the end times. Please go to Papa Joe Fortner or shockwaves of the end times or The watchmen series with papa joe. Thank you and God bless you 🙏
That was a sad ass burger and fries that the guy got at mc Donalds for $16 . Better to cook at home.
At those prices just fast skip lunch
Bravo on this subject. Excellent coverage on the short but sore subject! Thank you. ~Sharon from Florida
I catch t bones onsale sometimes for 5.99 a lb so about 3 lbs of steak for that meal
Buy 2 silver quarters
We only go to Chick Fil A and the price is usually decent unless I get a milkshake. We are low income, so we eat from home most days. I couldn't imagine only eating out, but I know several people who do it and the future isn't so bright for them. This reminds me of a movie…Idiocracy with the burger machine. God bless all.
You can buy 3 to 4 lbs of beef in my area on sale right now and make many burgers
9 months ago , you can buy all that for less than $10…. Let's go brandon !!
Eat at home! There’s no spit in your food and at home, your burger bun won’t be used in the toilet to wipe under the I’m. Ex-employees will tell some stories of culinary horrors! If you can think it, it can happen.
My tip…if your eating out order allacarte. The meals start at small and are 2 to 3$ more. The drink sizes have all shrunk to kid sizes. And use their apps for rewards. All costs are bonkers. Treated myself to my yrly holiday peppermint mocha Starbucks..small was almost $6.00.
For 16$. I get 6 – 1/2 lb burgers made with real meat I think?.?. Screw mcdonalds, it was barely worth it when double cheesburgers were 1$ and they had good fries ( not the poisoned nasty tasting ones they have now) , med ones for 1$.
Now youd have to pay me a substantial amount to eat mcdonalds. Unless its a double fish samdwich for 5$. Im pretty sure its real fish in those processed fish patties. Ill pay that price and eat those, but that is absolutely the only thing Ill eat from mcdonalds dinner menue. They have good hot fudge sundies too😊.
My daughter and I were running errands the other day, and I decided to go through Taco Bell for something cheap and quick — two bean burritos and two chicken chalupas. When I got to the window, they told me it was $18.89!! “How??” I asked them. They told me the chalupas were now $6.00 each. Yes, I paid it, because I didn’t want to disappoint my daughter, but we won’t be going back.
