AM I PLANTING IN WINTER? || What Is A Lasagna Planter? || Winter Garden Containers || Zone 8

I NEEDED to get out in to the soil and get my hands dirty! These planters were the perfect opportunity to use some things that I already had mixed with a few new things!

  1. Also, I do get the wanting to get your hands dirty. We are in Wisconsin so I will need to be satisfied with starting seeds for the next few months.

  2. Love the new containers!! What a joy to bring in some color in January 🙂 love your channel

  3. Love this idea. But I wonder if the tulips will actually be able to get through the other plants??? Then aren't you going to have to pull the bulbs and refrigerate them every year??

  4. In my zone 4 garden, I have yellow species tulips similar to the Peppermint Stick tulips. They have naturalized nicely in my garden and although they are short, they last a good amount of time. I have them planted in front of daffodils.

  5. I am ready to get my hands in the dirt! Just bought 3 new pots and potting mix…now to get plants. I like your use of the pine..may try that. Love your channel. Thanks Georgia zone 8b

  6. Lucky you be able to plant outside in January. I love the colors and textures in those pots. Snow and freezing rain here.

  7. Those turned out great! I hope those peppermint tulips do naturalize for you. I’d love to use those if they do. Love the frizzle swizzle pansies, so cute!!
