That's why I only pay with cash, whenever possible. .I round up my purchases and write them on my shopping list so I have a close estimate of what my purchases will cost. If it's off , I will check my receipt and get a refund if possible.

Yes. My husband caught this months ago at Walmart. We use the app to shop in store and noticed the prices ringing up on the app were MORE EXPENSIVE than the price posted on the shelves. When checking out, we had to notify the workers at the checkout who then had to get a manager. Too forever and most people won’t wait and just pay the extra so they can leave. They are stealing so watch out!

A couple of months ago I tried to buy a specific item at Walmart, shelf tag said $17, register rang up $24.99, I called a rep to my register and had them remove the item and told them there was a discrepancy. Two weeks later I went to get the same item again, still $17 on shelf, I took a picture on my phone, item rang up $24.99 again. I told the customer service representative I wanted it for the shelf tag price. They adjusted my register for me. Second time I called them over before I checked out because I knew it would be wrong.

By using my 55 inch desk top screen and expanding the video to full screen, I am absolutely sure that the $10.56 online egg purchase is dated Sept. 4, 2022. At 4:05 into the video the same eggs are priced in the store at $20.22 However I can clearly make out a best buy date of Jan. 21st, but I can't make out the last number in the year. I only see 202 for the year. Sept. 4 thru Jan. 21 is 4 1/2 months.
We have calculators on our phones. Keep a running total and take pictures of the bar codes on each item you buy. I’m going to take my own advice and do this at Publix.

I went in Walmart and while there, I checked the canning jars. Usually the golden harvest jelly jars are sold out, but occasionally I can find them there. But online for my store, they list a case for $7.36. But in the store they charge over $10. So I have learned to just go straight to customer service to have them do a price change and ring me up at the service desk. Well this last time, again straight to customer service, I showed them on their website, the cheaper cost and said I wanted it for that price. This time they tried to argue with me and not want to give me it for that price. They tried to say, even though that store number, it did not list “fulfilled “ at that store. Said it is ther store listing it though. I did not back down stating this is how I do it every time I buy them in store. They finally did a price override and gave it to me for the $7.36 per case! Another day I picked up four items and of the four, two rang up for a higher price. But did not have time to stand in line to get refund. So they got me that day!
A box like that in TX is $25 and some change! A lot of times they are putting items un the wrong place on the shelf. Like 98 cent muffins in a spot that says 3.89. And vice versa.
