Sounds like to many seeds 🤣
Where do you get your seeds from? I have a Dobbies near me – is it any good? No Wilko here unfortunately. I’m number 2 on my allotment waiting list so feel I can start choosing some seeds!!
Have you tried wild garlic and Welsh onions and Egyptian walking onions you are never without and they keep going on and on walking on your plot making it an interesting mix. Welsh onions also go on and on and wild garlic can be grown around your fruit trees making it like a wild wood appearance
As for tomatoes I grow ones for sauces like Roma and a beefeater one and then good tasting salad toms. Black Russian yellow pear red cherry black cherry minions to name a few but for a larger good salad Tom for taste is gardeners delight and Shirley or moneymaker.
We love swede carrots and parsnips grown together and chopped up together with butter and black pepper soooo delish can even mash together instead of spuds
I didn't know there were so many varieties of tomatoes until I watched this 😂 I just got my first allotment so this will be my first growing season. So I'm trying not to go mad and sow all the things and overwhelm myself
We had a great year for toms cos was hot and dry so no chance of blight but it could be different this year. We have to be ready for different climates these days
Honeybee were very sweet
Aubergines good in ratatouille or mousaka or sliced and cooked on barby
Brocolli raab best sown in spring
🤣 Don't want to use up the ink in your pen, best to stick with just "tomato". I just got a new tomato to try this year, Ace. Supposedly its really good in the 100° temps we get for weeks at a time. Fingers crossed!
