In this video I take you through all of the plants in my collection! This is my first houseplant tour in my new apartment – I’ve never done a full plant tour before, so I was really excited to make this video. I filmed the full collection tour, but it came in at well over 4 hours long (I’ve got a lot of plants!) so I decided to break it up into 2 separate videos, and this is PART 1! Not only do I take you through all the plants in my collection, but I also show you all my propagations and propagation boxes.
I really hope you enjoy it! ๐ŸŒฑ

  1. alocasias lose an old leaf when they get too little water. If a new leaf is on the way, they need more water.

  2. Your collection is absolutely stunning ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ’š wowza! Random coincidence – I have my philodendron gloriosum next to my anthurium clarinervium too! X

  3. I love green leaves too ๐Ÿธ The human eye can perceive more shades of green than any other colour! X

  4. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š cliffhangerโ€ฆ. I went straight for the part 2 link hahaha
I have Covid and love your videos and this couldnโ€™t of come out on a better week

  5. Thank you for making this video! You have sooo many beautiful plants and i know you must spend a lot of time keeping up with them. I very much enjoy your channel and come here first for help and tips for my plants. I live in the US near Chicago with cold winters (occasional snow) and warm humid summers. I try to keep the house near 55% humidity and my plant room for delicate plants (calatheas and alocasias) near 70% in the winter using humidifiers. Your plants always look so green and healthy. i'm thinking you must also struggle to keep the humidity up during the winter. BTW your Orbifolia looks beautiful!

  6. your Hoya undulata red is soo stunning! I must have missed it on your channel because Iโ€™ve never seen it before. I actually think it is really pretty and was kinda confused when you said it is definitely an ugly plant ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜… 26:55

  7. Drinking game idea: take a sip every time Claire says "beautiful"๐Ÿ˜

  8. I get the feeling that ivy just doesnโ€™t like to be a houseplant. Maybe itโ€™s too warm. Maybe itโ€™s because itโ€™s not got a tree to climb/live off.

  9. Hi Claire! I love this so much! I wanted to share something I learned with Alocasia… they will "look down" if they are getting too much light. My regular Frydek did that for a while until I learned that and as soon as I moved it away from the grow light a little it was back to standing up straight.

  10. Two and a half hours video to watch while Iโ€™m repotting! Niiice! My standleyana arrived from Grow Tropicals and itโ€™s amazing! HUGE! In the sale for ยฃ10.99! Soooo pleased with it. Itโ€™s beautiful!

  11. Iโ€™d love to hang out in your living room. Donโ€™t worry Iโ€™m not weird ๐Ÿ˜‚

  12. Hi Claire,
Thank you sooo much for your planty videos. I love watching them. I'm usually a quiet watcher, but get loads out of your videos๐Ÿ’š! Just finished part 1 of your House Tour and about to start part 2.
I have finally caved and decided to try Liquid Gold Leaf and Liquid Gold Leaf Photo+. However I can't find your discount code. I've tried JUNGLEHAVEN, but no joy๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜‚. Could you tell me where I'm going wrong please.
    TIA ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿชด X

  13. I think I paid $40 for a 3 leaf cutting of Hoya polyneura a few years ago! It's crazy how much the prices have come down. Its so nice to be able to afford some of my wishlist plants now.

  14. I really enjoyed this video! Getting ready to watch part 2.๐Ÿ˜‰Iโ€™m a new subscriber and I just love your videos. I also have been slowly getting into Hoyas since watching your videos. I just got a baby Sarawak today, and am hoping mine gets as big as yours one day.๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ

  15. I was thinking that macrophylla red might be a latifolia? And then you also have a latifolia and I dont know….๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

  16. Ivy. I tried one inside and it didnโ€™t work. I put it outside and itโ€™s very happy. They seem to prefer being outside (in the uk).

  17. you might want to size up the ivy's pot, i have one that size that out grew it's 6 inch pot in only 10 months and started dying back like yours! it completely recovered after repotting it to an 8 inch.

  18. Speaking from personal experience, the piper sylvaticum was definitely in need of a drink! It doesn't show how desperate it is for a drink until it's critical, and then the leaves start drooping almost in an instant. It'll bounce back fairly quickly after watering (leaves will harden again) but new growth will suffer if it gets so thirsty that the leaves start drooping. It took me a while to learn how often my piper wanted to be watered, I would often water only once it started to be critical, and as a result all the new growth was misshapen and stunted (and would even drop off). Now that I water my piper often enough that it doesn't get pushed to the edge, my new growth is bigger and perfectly healthy. I have not been able to successfully propagate mine though, sadly! I love this plant and I hope you'll have lots of success with yours too! โค๏ธ
