Tips to plant your fruit tree properly, first, don't plant it so close to your steps or your house! Your tree does not remain that small. It will grow and cause problems with stairs and foundation if planted to close to house !
I think it was planted slightly below ground level. I always plant at least a couple of inches above because once the dirt compacts and settles, it’s going to be few inches lower 😄
Tree is planted too deep in the ground and way too close to the house and steps….. Future issues
If plant a shrub near the, leave 1.5 to 2 lawnmower widths between a building and other plants. Know how large a tree will grow and place it accordingly
