  1. This is a good format, with the descriptions, terminology and explanations nicely placed. I love the idea of careful cleanliness. Cleaning is a form of meditation, not merely a chore. Many people in western culture do not realize this. Thank you.

  2. What a wonderful 'deep dive' tutorial. I learned many new things in this presentation. Thank You.

  3. Love all the added information. Great look at all the care and preparation to get ready for the ceremony. Great videography. Keep up the great work! Thank you for doing this.

  4. Matsunaga san thank you for another great video. I have a question, whats the name of the plant whose leaves where in the Chiri-ana? its also in the garden with little red fruits. thank you

  5. Thank you very much for the explanations, they are really very helpful. I am already looking forward to the next video.

  6. Félicitations nous sommes ravis de découvrir la culture et l’art japonais à travers vos vidéos pleines de charme. Nous sommes admiratifs du soin apporté à l’accueil et au respect des invités. 7. This is a very effective way to provide a more in-depth knowledge of this exquisite tradition while enjoying the soothing images.
    I love it, thank you!

  8. Como siempre excelente! Sería lindo poder ver una ceremonia del té ahí mismo! Saludos desde Buenos Aires!

  9. Fantastic, gives a lot of understanding not just about japanese culture and gardening but general human nature and the beauty of it. Always gives me so much ideas, motivation and deeper appreciation for my own garden and generally in life. Thank you again 🙂

  10. I'm so glad you are here showcasing these meaningful traditions. They are beautiful and worthy of maintaining. The commitment to the highest standards shows in the tea ceremony, the work of the niwashi, and your own efforts to bring this to us. Thank you so much 🙏

  11. Thank you for sharing the meticulous preparation of an elegant & serene Japanese Tea Garden, so integral with the Tea Ceremony. The roji 'journey' helps guide the guests' attention to the symbolic details, the cleansing ritual and sets the preparatory meditative stage for the Tea Ceremony. Similarly, your video nicely guides your viewers – through the same process!

  12. amazing video! love all the details very well explained! i would looove to see a POV of an attendant, from the very start before getting inside the tea garden, the walk, the washing hands segment, entering the room, an the entire tea service, and going out again, like having the complete experience from the point of view of the guest, would be totally amazing! i don't think there's any video on youtube like that, there's probably several ones about the tea ceremony but the camera is always a third person, i think there's none of an actual POV.

  13. wow, such a detailed video! so much informative! thank you. please, do more episodes like this.
