3 Interior Designers Transform The Same Dining Room | Space Savers | Architectural Digest

We gave interior designers Noz Nozawa, Erick Garcia, and Mandy Cheng a photo of the same empty dining room—then asked each of them to create a design for it in their particular style, however they pleased. Three artists, one canvas, each bringing something different to the space. See which designer comes closest to creating your ideal formal dining room.

  2. I would’ve loved to see the designs of the guy who was in the first few episodes for this one

  3. I am on sensory overload load with naz. Erika is calm and simplistic elegance. N

Mandy's would look good for a breakfast area.

  4. I like Ericks space a ton, but would have loved to see a touch more colour in the space. I liked the others for the colour but I think the ultra kookiness was a bit much for me in terms of your real house dining room. Loved this!

  5. their designs nice, appreciate their different points of views, but can't imagine listening to them talk (if I were to hire any one them for a job) . The way they speak, sounds like they're constantly asking questions, as if their ideas are not concrete nor do they have conviction in their design choices – I would be hard pressed to take them seriously by the way they speak 😥

  6. How is travertine antibacterial? (@10:32) Over time, it can literally get disgusting, holding dirt and funk in it's pores and getting discolored where it's touched (like on the edges of tables). Maybe if it's filled or highly polished. But these guys are WILD anyway! Lol Where does the door even lead?? Are you going to build an addition (to nowhere) just so that you can have a door that "adds a sense of wanting to know where it leads". Why not tear the whole place down and build a round room there? 🤣

  7. I love the idea of opening the room to the yard but somehow Noz's take the win for me although it's not my usual go-to style

  8. Eric's was the best aesthetically, but those louver doors wont seal out air or water? all these designers create in a false reality. Noz doesn't have any kind of window treatments, so I guess no privacy or light control in that room, and its far too busy with that choice of wall paper, shaped windows, and hand shaped lights! What's the budget for this build? infinite money!

  9. I started liking Noz the most, and it became a toss-up between her and Mandy. Towards the end, my taste is definitely Erick!
