For my location, mid to late February is the time to plant potatoes. So what do I need to do to plant the spuds and how much of a harvest will I get? Besides the potatoes, I will be planting Brussel Sprouts and setting up the garden to plant cauliflower, wax beans, and cucumbers. But the best part of a good garden is its compost heap and what goes into it to generate the magic black gold.

Hey there Pat Prokop! I grew up in Savannah back in the 80's and 90's and you were the best meteorologist on TV, hands down! I still remember 1989, the year of Hurricane Hugo and Savannah's only white Christmas (maybe?). Its been so long since I've been back, almost 20 years. But great channel, and nice garden!
