In this video I show you my new indoor houseplants and some tips and tricks I use to keep them nice. We bought some new beautiful varieties, including areca palm, silver pothos, prayer plant, split leaf philedendrum and I show you a couple of other pothos we have that you might have already seen. We love our plants inside and out. To bring in the good feels and have the natural world inside, we like to have a few near our windows downstairs. I show you the plant feed and pesticide I use and a trick with my water to keep it clean for the plants. 1. Jeff and Angela. I want to give you an unbelievable way to clean the leaves of golden pothos and the big split leaf philodendrons. You won't believe how good this works…. Wet a wash cloth and ring it out. Dip it into a little mayonnaise and smear it on the wash cloth then rub your plant leaves. They will look shiny and brand new. 👍👍🍃🍃🌿🌿💖💖

  2. Gorgeous beautiful plants love your beautiful home fabulous decorating style style thank you for this video see you next time be safe

  3. I have watched thousands of gardening videos and never heard of the aloe in water trick, wonderful!! And I will be trying the systemic insect control. I am potting up plants today! Great timing Jeff and thanks for always having the 411!

  4. Thanks for the video!! Years ago I had a Christmas Cactus, it was the lowest maintenance plant ever! I bought it small & on sale at the grocery store after Christmas one year, it grew, bloomed, lived 7+ years. It was damaged at the root, might have been those bugs you talked about!

  5. Awwwie so sweet video Sir what a positivity I really enjoyed it May God Bless You and Your family Stay safe and Stay healthy forever and ever 💃💃💃💃💃

  6. I just love all your beautiful plants!! I really admire people that have a green thumb and can grow them so beautifully like you and Angela do! 🌿🌳 🎋 ps .thanks for the plant tips! I didn't know that about the aloe water! I LOVE natural home/plant remedies. 👍

  8. my wife and i love to watch your show question IF your house were catch on fire and you can only take 1 item out what would that be ?

  9. Very, very interesting show. Loved all the plant hints and ideas. I wish I had better luck with my 2 orchids. It’s so hard to get them to bloom again. Do you keep some outside? 🌿🌱🌴🌳🪴

  10. Thanks for the plant tips 😊 I have an Aloe plant in my kitchen window, it’s from my Grandmother’s original plant 🪴 she always had one for cuts and burns, it really works! LOL 😆 she would use Aloe or Watkin’s salve on us grandkids for everything

  11. Beautiful plants and very well placed too! I usually water on Wednesdays unless the plant wants to wait for another week. Plants are great for cleaning the air! That aloe though, it's slicker than snot on a doorknob! ❤

  12. Really enjoyed this I learned a few things I didn’t know thank you Jeff 💕💕💕💕Easter yeah !🐰🐰🐰🐇🐇🐇

  13. Hi ya Jeff , I haven't got live plants inside , my cats would have a field day . LoL but as you know we've got the porch and the back screen room with plants but some are poisonous to cats . My palms in the porch I've had for years and I trim my climbing plants every year. About now our first day of autumn yesterday so I'll give it a month then do them . Everything went okay at heart specialist as of now . Go back in 2 weeks . I have Aloe in my garden I use it for everything. I do the same as you it's a gift for us to use on everything from a burn , cuts and I make soap liquid for the bathroom. Tammy when she was little had bad rashes from allergic reaction to grass my dad told me to use Aloe in her bath it worked and even now she will put it in her bath . Because I grow it everywhere in the yard I never run out . I spend an hour making products out of it. Your hair loves it to Tammy has very long hair and she uses the Aloe in her shampoo. God bless you all keep safe and well from Karen and family in Australia 🙏🌈🐈💖🥰🐨🦘🇭🇲

  14. Beautiful selection of plants and great tips. I didn’t know about the Aloe purifying water. I learned that if you let the top 1/2” or so where the bugs live go dry, they die off and don’t multiply. 🤍💚🌞

  15. Beautiful house plants!! I don't have a green thumb. I have a Christmas cactus, but the rest in my house are artificial, and doing great lol. 😂💜🌹🌸🌼🌻🐇

  16. Yep…I'm jealous. I believe I have the blackest thumb in the history of black thumbs. Even those trailing photos that seem to thrive in everyone's house or cubicle at work….I manage to kill them. Even herbs!!! Rosemary they said are hard to kill. Yea they haven't met me yet. I gave up on live plants 😔. I'm cursed 😭😭

  17. Healthy plants make me smile. Nothing like plants indoor . A great trick with the aloe plant. Thanks for sharing. 😊❤️

  18. Did not know about the water with some miracle grow in it can you spray that on any plant or just the tropicals. Love the idea of the aloe in the wate. I also did know of the fertilizer for house plants to take of those pesky bugs. Thank you for sharing how you take care of your house plants. 🪴

  19. Bonjour mon ami. sorry that i missed the last 2 videos but now, I'm back to tell you that your plants are beautiful. This is because you love them and and take so good care of them, this is the key of the success. Thank so much for the little trick to do with the aloe plants, so glad that I've learn something really interesting. Have a great week-end mon ami. 🌿🌱🫖

  20. I just loved this vlog. I am a big fan of houseplants. The aloe idea made me very happy. I will be using that trick. There a lot of people that are missing these great ideas..

  21. Hello, utube froze up and down Wed. How frustrating. Your tips and view on house plants intrigued me and very helpful and interesting. While living in Hi plants loved it there!!! No problem!! Had a Boston Fern that got huge in 3 yrs!! We sold it for 150 dollars to a decorator!! I think in Florida plants would love it there too. Ivy, pothos, and Christmas cactus does well for me. My beloved Mom had a prayer plant too. She used miracle grow and fish fertilizer.. nothing like green and plants in the house. It's cozy. Take care. 🪴🪴🪴🌈

  22. I’ve seen the indoor plants in your videos but didn’t realize the care you put into them. How many green thumbs do you have Jeff? 😅. Thanks for sharing

  23. Love your plants!! Living in Scottsdale, Arizona plant care can be a challenge because of low humidity and fluoride in the water – learned the hard way with several species of tropical plants. Several Calathea, Maranta and Stromanthe have met their maker in my home except for a Rattlesnake Calathea which is hanging in there. Have found that Mosquito Bits mixed into potting soil has helped with fungus gnats. Use Neem Oil to clean plant leaves – it’s a natural pesticide and repellant as well as removing water marks, making plant leaves shiny and helps with rust. Monstera Adonsonii (similar in looks to your Split Leaf Philodendron) Rojo Congo and Rattlesnake Calathea look great after treatment. Think you need an Aspidistra (Cast Iron Plant) which, along with Kentia Palms, were the most popular plants in Victorian homes.

  24. The plants look so healthy. Thanks so sharing tips on taking care of our plants. Pat in N q

  26. Hi Jeff, sorry I'm 2 days late here. Went to the greenhouse for my winter plant browse fix. I must be really deprived of green because I lost my mind, and came home with a big tray of house plants! After I got home it hit me that now since I have 4 kittens, I have to be careful of what plants are in the house. So looked them up and yep, all but 2 of them are super toxic to cats! 😭 Guess I'll have to enjoy the toxic ones outside and board them at my grandaughter's for the cold months. Yes, something snaps when you are standing in a greenhouse full of lush and beautiful plants. Your brain goes on vaca!!🤣 Maybe we can get a tour of your gardens to help tide us northern birds over til we get some warm? I enjoy your videos and the happy conversation. Also love Angela's music choices!
