  1. Thank you for including photos! I'm 100% with you on the dahlia pom-poms. The darker colors will be the perfect contrast to everything you've chosen. (I really want to use more exclamation marks!!!) You've done such a wonderful job of choosing your wedding dahlias! The spreadsheet you made is perfect as well.

  2. Perfectly timed video as I am going for a white theme, with pockets of colour in our garden this year.

  3. A lovely selection of dahlias. I also have a few dahlias from farmer gracey. I have grown my love for the last few years. Its a beautiful flower and for me has been a reliable and prolific one. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I look forward to watching the final results 😊

  4. Congratulations on your 100k ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I personally give you a five star. Wishing you the best of luck with all your floral endeavours, look forward to seeing all your successes. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😂

  5. If you know someone with a big fall hydrangea they are great to cut and do arbors or swags. I did my whole wedding from an abandoned run down buildings old outta control hydrangea bushes. Makes for a fun night out with the girls before the wedding too. Sneaky, drinky, buckets of hydrangea picking mischief.

  6. How exciting. My daughter-in-law made her own bouquet and table arrangements. She had shop bought flowers, Aldi, due to budget, but it gave it a very special and personal touch. They were lovely. Your colour palettes for the flowers look beautiful it's going to be a very exciting year for you. Here's to a good growing season. Congratulations on 100k well done. 💐

  7. That's a beautiful selection you've chosen. It's going to look stunning. I accidentally grew verrones obsidion last year as the packet was labelled incorrectly, but I actually preferred it to my original choice, it's beautiful, it won't disappoint you. 😊

  8. When are you getting married? Your first video inspired me to grow my own too! Getting married the last weekend of September so have been worrying about making sure ive plenty of flowers available!

  9. What a beautiful collection you've curated, love them all, I grew Verrone's Obsidian last summer, it is one of my new favorites. Look forward to seeing yours growing. I grew Avalanche dinner plate the last 2 yrs, love it too, I cut one at a time and let it float on a dinner plate.

  10. I'm a great fan of Farmer Gracy too, love the art work, always makes my day when they arrive. Wishing you all the best with your wedding flower growing, looking forward to seeing your final design.

  11. Gorgeous choices. So cool MIL is a florist ! My friend told me both her daughters had fake flowers for wedding as fresh wedding bouquets way too expensive these days in my country – thats sad . I had beautiful fresh flowers for mine …i loved them so much.

  12. Wow, I have always considered roses my favorite flower, but you have singlehandedly converted me to Dahlias in one video. Beautiful!!

  13. Congratulations on 100k! I’ve also ordered cornel bronze this year on the recommendation of Danielle of Northlawn flower farm. She grows here in the states for a flower stand and she’s said that it’s one of her best performing for vase life. I look forward to growing along!

  14. Your garden and wedding are both going to be so very pretty. 100K!!! Are you growing scabiosa? Fama white and black Knight would be pretty with your bouquet and table arrangements. Easy to grow from seed.

  15. Beautiful selection of Dahlias.
I grew «Petra’s Wedding» last year. Beautiful, but quite much smaller than the picture in the catalog.

  16. I grew sweet peas and made confetti for my brother’s wedding. I plucked all the petals and dried them in the microwave.

  17. Love your sheet of piccies and info. How did you create that ?(would love to produce one when selling young potted dahlias at a June village charity event).

  18. Can’t wait to see your allotment right before the wedding, it will be chock full of gorgeous blooms! The Ludwig Helfert is such a perfect choice to go with the others, I think it will just glow. Congrats on 100k🎉

  19. All the worst places to buy from the only place to buy is halls of heddon a specialty dahlia nursery and used by exhibition growers, also a Pom dahlia is only 55mm to 83 mm what your talking about are actually decoratives and there’s no such dahlia as dinner plate it’s a large or giant. If you actually want to learn the actual classifications look on the National dahlia society isn’t of using incorrect terms

  20. I grew Verrone’s Obsidian for the first time last year. It’s a beauty, and it flowered prolifically, but I found it didn’t have particularly vase life. You have a lovely selection of colours.

  21. Regarding your cafe au lait dahlia, your relative who is helping flower arrange will know this, but any flowers that are being stubborn you can pop some wire round the stem and through the flower base to help keep it in shape and the flower upright. My birth mother was a very talented florist. Any flowers you love you will be able to make it work. There’s plenty of tricks florists know about to get things into work such as using green thin tape over the top of vases in a grid like shape so that you can get flowers in exactly the right postion. Or making a bouquet but rather then using a vase to arrange, doing it free hand and tieing with string before potting it into water so that it has a “chocolate box effect”. It sounds like you know exactly what you want, but don’t rule anything out because you think it won’t stay in place. Your relative will be able to make it work for you 💐

  22. Hiya Katrina Thankyou for sharing. I can imagine the white Dahlias & fairy lights it’s going to be fabulous Luv Southern Ontario 🇨🇦 🐝

  25. Wonderful dahlia choices. It’s so exciting to grow your own flowers for your wedding. Looking forward to seeing the final bouquet and flower sprays and decorations for the day

  26. Halls of heddon is a 102 year old dahlia farm in Northumberland they sell an excellent variety of show standard dahlias
