Making Vanilla Extract + Planning A Container Garden

In this video, I’m chatting about making vanilla extract and how I’m planning a container garden.

Vanilla Extract Recipe

12 vanilla beans
2 cups vodka

Slice the beans down the middle and put them in a mason jar. Make sure the beans will be fully immersed in the vodka. Cut as needed. Place a lid covered in plastic wrap or beeswax wrap and store for 6-12 months. Shake every few days (or when you think about it).
