the first house my family and i got after immigrating to the us was small but it had a giant cherry blossom tree that would always bloom so beautifully in the spring. although there arenβt many cherry blossoms in my area, whenever i see cherry blossoms, i always associate them with those times, that despite being difficult, we made the best of it. we ended up moving away from that house but i always hope the tree is still blossoming beautifully. ALSO i adored this video so much! it was so entertaining!! much love πΈ

Those sakura are so pink and pretty! I live in Canada and the sakura has not bloomed yet cuz we're still in winter with a huge snowstorm coming

My hubby is Japanese and we get another Japanese box (starts with S lol) but this looks good too. I agree these boxes are so fun. I loved how pretty that garden looked and the koi were so big. Cherry blossom season is funny in Seattle, we have a few throughout the city (including one outside my house!) but our spring is so rainy and windy that they get kind of battered lol. I noticed some blossom petals on my floor yesterday that my dog had tracked in and was like βaw, little buddyβ
No way, I went to the same Balboa Park last summer! The friendship garden was closed, but next time i'm looking for the friendship garden. It looks absolutely gorgeouss

That park was so lovely! And the architecture too was lush. Is that typical of California? Thereβs a small βAsian gardenβ with a lone Sakura tree by the train station in my town. Itβs so random and most people ignore it but thereβs a bench right under it and every time it blooms I go sit there and pretend Iβm in Japan π©
