  1. You will be an inspiration for your neighbor to consider their front yard landscape redesign.

  2. I think the yellow flowers are too harsh, a paler tone would be lovely. Amazing progress already both inside and outside.

  3. What an enchanting adventure your new landscaping is🪄

Thank you so much for sharing the journey🌞

Black furniture with southern exposure sounds painfully hot to touch (any area that isn’t covered with cushions).

  4. Literally have hostas peaking through here in central Louisiana. Some things are really early, but some seemed to be dragging their feet.

  5. Linda! I think your cottage would look magical and gorgeous if you painted the brick maybe a sage green with dark green trim

  6. The yellow pansies look nice, pans pink is also nice and for spring, yellow and pink look really good together. But if it were me, I’d like some blue in the mix. Some blue pansies with the yellow! 🙏💙💙💙
    💕💙💛💚💕💙💛💚💕💙💛💚💕

  7. Thank you so much for including the design drawings. Re: color palette – I was hoping you would replicate the pink purple white blue colors of your old front area in spring, but I'm sure it will look lovely if you go with yellow..

  8. I think the yellow works really well, especially for spring. The pastels are beautiful on their own but having some yellow to draw your eye in the cloudy grey days of spring is a wonderful idea.

  9. I also thought the seating area looked too small. If the chairs are full, people relaxed and leaned back, then, due to the boxwood edging,, walking around the outside of the grouping would not work. Also, the cottage walls will absorb and radiate a great deal of heat. Sitting any closer to the structure might be uncomfortably hot.

  10. The redbuds are so beautiful in bloom and they will look fantastic in your yard and to look at out your window. You asked if YouTube notified of shorts and they don’t. But shorts can be found at the top of your channel like you said and the are displayed across the screen between videos.

  11. I like the look of a pastel palette. Are you planning on painting the house and the steps at the front of your entrance?

  12. Linda, I recently watched one of many of your videos. You had donned a red pair of house shoes. For the life of me I can't find that video to see if you had a link for them. May I ask, where in the world you purchased them, who makes them and the style name?

  13. I have a plaque on my house that was painted for me with aman and woman dressed in days of old. At the top of the plaque it reads’ Hughes House’ with the date of occupancy at the bottom. Hope you can visualize this, but it really is cute and charming.❤️😊

  14. Incorporate the yellow tulips for sure ! I love the the yellow pansies against the red brick of the cottage !

  15. What about a brick knee wall where you are planning the boxwood and plant the boxwood outside of that. I think it would frame your little sitting area nicely.

  16. Linda, wonderful update! I did not expect such a big transformation in such a short time since your move. I love it! In my youtube feed one of your earlier videos popped up: Garden Tour: The Bungalow Garden with the Appletini Green… from 2 years ago. It would be interesting to know what you implement in your own garden and personlize from these kind of visits.

  17. I had redbuds at my house. They should have done well bc they are native to NJ , but l think we were pushing their limits.

My town is 6a and 6b . We aren’t supposed to plant flowers until Mother’s Day weekend, so l am buying tulips and daffodils at the grocery store when l go .
Your planting is going to look fantastic this summer. I like yellow flowers. The only color that l don’t love is red .

  18. The porch railing is attractive and appropriate. Have you considered adding the same style/pattern on the other siu

  19. I love all your ideas and I agree the cottage look is most suitable .. I remember you said previously you wanted to introduce more of a Mediterranean look with lots of blues.. is this something you’ve since changed your mind about or is this still in your plan’s somewhere along the line .. possibly in the back garden? I’m just curious if you’ve changed your mind and going with a more traditional look to mirror the cottage ? Love all you’ve created so far Linda, your biggest fan here in the UK ❤ xxx 😘 sending you lots of love 💕

  20. Hi linda just loving what Ur doing on Ur new garden it's going to be amazing lm so excited to follow u cheers merrilyn

  21. Magnolias don't like to be relocated. Fuzzy plants indeed!! Are you planning to plant all along your neighbor's house to give you more privacy ?

  22. If you want yellow with tremendous variety, why not leave the past behind and fill your front yard with daffodils. You can leave them in the ground, their foliage dies back much more attractively than tulips, different cultivars bloom from March into June and the squirrels won’t touch them. It is an opportunity to interplant beautiful things to both bloom with them and/or camouflage them as they go dormant. New house, new garden inspiration.

  23. Definitely think you should enlarge the patio area! You can always add some potted plants, but, it would be a ton of work to enlarge it later 😊.

  24. Thank you for taking us along on your gardenng journey in both of your homes. As I sit at the window in my Minnesota home and watch the snowflakes fall on an already deep pile of frozen fluff, watching you is a healing balm for my soul.

  25. Linda- I learn so much from you! I purchased the picture lights you recommended last week and I love them!! I agree with Stuart- I too love the way you communicate. It’s a gift! Your new cottage front patio is going to be spectacular !

  26. Isn't your gathering area in the front of your house going to be toooo hot in the summer time to be enjoyable ? I LOVE the roof on your "house on the hill". Looking forward to many more videos and beautiful changes to your yard, front and back.

  27. Why don't you add wrought-iron to the right side of your porch to match the one on the left? Just to the corner of the porch
